This hotel was used during a journey from Beziers to Paris, it was just a one night stopover. The hotel was much more impressive than I had been led to believe. The hotel le Chalet Montégut is situated about 6 kilometres west of Moulins on the D945, the hotel is most peaceful as it is surrounded by gardens and parkland. The hotel has 28 rooms in a country house, all rooms have ensuite facilities plus television and direct dial telephone. The restaurant is in a separate house and is a gastronomics delight. Unfortuneatly my wife and I arrived on a pouring wet afternoon and left next morning in a real thunderstorm, rather a pity as I am sure it is a very pretty place and certainly now on my list to try again when we are in that part of France. I hope you also find it and enjoy its ambience.
