We were staying in Sarlat for a few nights as part of a tour of France and were attracted by the many positive comments on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. The hotel is perfectly located and run by Mr and Mrs "Owner" who were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate and plentiful. Our room overlooked the... More

Our room was small but that is the norm in France. It was very clean. The beds (we requested 2 since the French double beds are so small) were very comfortable and the room nicely decorated. Bathrooms were modern. Plenty of hot water in shower and good pressure. There is free parking two blocks away. It was very quiet at... More

We spent two nights here. We've been travelling 9 weeks so far in France and Italy, moving between 3,4 and 5 star as budget, opportunity and whim take us. For the money, this has been one of our best choices. Centrally located, very close to the old town, not too hard to get a cheap park, large room and bathroom,... More

The hotel is about a 3-minute walk to the medieval town area where on Saturdays a large, colourful open air local produce market takes over the streets from 9 am to 1 pm - very popular & a feast for the nose & eyes! Comfortable rooms, clean bathroom, friendly & helpful hosts. At night the old town area is full... More

We only spent one night here but absolutely loved the town and this hotel. It's run by a very friendly staff that like to smile and laugh. We were lucky enough to get a room on one of the upper floors on the corner of the building. It had big windows that opened onto two different streets. Big comfy bed..we... More

Stayed here for 1 week. When we arrived the elevator was broken down. We were discussing to change hotel, but then they said we could stay on the ground floor and on the same conditions as we had booked. They were very helpfull and very friendly. Breakfast is in buffet-style. The hotel is at a 5 min walk from the... More

This hotel is perfectly situated for the traveller into Sarlat. Time your stay to coincide with the Saturday market, which is very large. This location makes the market and all restaurants within minutes walk. The ATM is a minute away if you need cash. Being a 'chip' card at a minimum. The room was large with a King bed and... More

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It is very convenient for the old town, which is absolutely beautiful. There are so many places to eat in Sarlat, we were spoilt for choice. We found the owners very obliging and welcoming. The room was a good size - far bigger than many we have stayed in in France - with... More

This hotel was nice and I would recommend. Stayed here with a tour group for 2 nights. The room was clean, neat and bright with average amount of room. The bathroom was clean and relatively new with the typical small European shower. I read a few reviews that the front desk staff, one of which is the own, were not... More

Located right at the edge of the old-town, it was a very pleasant and comfortable hotel. The owners were especially helpful and courteous. Clean and nicely refurbished rooms with decent Wifi. Parking was free in the lot in front since the side street next to the hotel was being repaired. It was also a great hub for touring the river... More
