Popped in here to the bar after a dinner out in Sarlat, and on our 15 minute walk back to our holiday house. The bar was very nice, although the wine dispenser was a little strange (and expensive) albeit served excellent wines. The barman was very friendly and entertaining, although there was a strange function going on in one of... More

They have spent a lot of money with the interior decor of this very stylish hotel but you only get 2 star towels in your bathroom, even the pool towels are of a better quality. The location is perfect but parking could be a problem in season.

This is a modern facility, pleasant staff. Very convenient location to visit Sarlat. Requested a quiet room and we did get one with view on the backyard and pool. Wifi needs to be frequently recoded,a bit of an annoyance. No hand soap in the shower. Rather small bathroom. Convenient garage (at a fee) nearby. Beware that on Saturdays an outdoor market... More

i stayed here last August. When my son mentioned that he wanted to see caves with prehistoric art, I decided to return. Sarlat makes a good base for many daytrips. The hotel is pleasant but rooms are not big. The regular room is small- just enough to fit a queen sized bed, narrow table and doorless closets. The bathroom is... More

We stayed only over night as we were on a cruise ship docked for 24 hours in Bordeaux and wanted to see some of Sarlat and Rocamadour. We booked a room in The Plaza Madeleine. The room was small but well furnished and the bed was comfortable. We had a drink in the bar and ordered soup and a roll... More

Lovely stylish hotel, well situated in the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat. Nice decor in the room, and throughout the hotel. Enjoyed the outdoor heated jacuzzi on a crisp winter morning (but gave the pool a miss). Breakfast choice was sufficient and delicious. A beautiful seasonal bonus was closing the curtains in the early evening, then emerging outside onto a... More

This is a lovely hotel. Rooms are super stylish and beautifully appointed - I was very pleasantly surprised. The same applies to the rest of the hotel - elegant decor, spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfasts (hot/cold) were very good (the freshly squeezed orange juice was a nice touch). At the front of the hotel there's a lovely outdoor seating... More

Many of the rooms are really very tiny. We know most hotel rooms in Europe are on the small side, especially compared with North American but room 212 is like - teeny-tiny-tiny. We're tall but not heavy and this room was SMALL. We had to stay there the first night (hotel was full) and we had to stack the stool... More

hotel situated in the centre, comfortable room albeit small we had a business room, we stayed for a couple of nights it did not have a great deal of storage and no hot towel rail in the bathroom to dry your towels. The room was very modern and luxurious. The reception is not manned permanently, only first thing and after... More

The location of this hotel is very good. A very easy walk to the town. Although lots of people complained about parking, we didn't find it to be a problem. If you stay here, you need to stay in an upgraded room, the room was small, the bathroom amenities were unsatisfactory. There was no place to keep your toiletries....not even... More
