We were amazed at the hospitality of Terri, Richard and Debbie who made us feel completely at home in this beautiful B & B situated in the heart of the mediaeval village. Richard prepares delicious breakfasts which look as good as they taste. The room was comfortable and very clean, overlooking the garden courtyard. The tours to Rocamador, Beynac and... More

We had a very relaxing time here. Our hosts were very generous. A special mention for Richard who continuously drew us maps. The location is perfect and free parking close by is relatively easy to find. We received good advice on where to eat. Would recommend for couples.

Once again we were charmed by the warm welcome of Terri Bowen and her lovely team of Debbie and Richard to this most delightful chambre d'hôtes in the heart of Sarlat. We chose the Tapestry room on this visit and it was just as comfortable and beautifully decorated as the other rooms we have stayed in. We enjoyed a lovely... More

Terri and the team were fantastic hosts! Tea, coffee, wine and beer on tap was just what you needed after a day at the market. Their knowledge of the local area and things to do and see was great. The B&B itself is in an amazing location in the centre of the old town on a beautiful street that looks... More

My sister and I stayed at La Lanterne for three nights in July and can only agree with all the other rave reviews. The central location made exploring beautiful Sarlat and its attractions very easy. We were delighted with our elegant rooms which were comfortable, clean and quiet. The tranquil courtyard is the perfect place for breakfast, a picnic lunch... More

We stayed for 4 nights in August, 2014. Richard and Debbie were the most amazing hosts. They went out of their way to recommend local sights and restaurants, including making dinner reservations. The breakfast for 9 Euro was terrific: fresh fruit salad, breads/croissants, preserves, yogurt, granola, scrambled eggs (so good!), offer of meat/cheese, coffee/tea and juice. Our rooms were comfortable;... More

A delightful three night stay at this charming B&B. Rooms are light and airy and the bed comfortable. Our hosts were welcoming and aim to make your stay as enjoyable as possible with good advice about local attractions and restaurants. The courtyard is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the company of other guests. Parking is close by but... More

You just can't beat this for position, but there is so much more to this charming guest house than that. It has tremendous charm and character, an ancient staircase to remind you just how old is the building, and you'll get a wonderfully warm welcome from owner Terri. Richard and Debbie looked after us brilliantly, on arrival after a long... More

It's hard to know where to start with the praise for this wonderful B & B. We were warmly welcomed by Debbie and the gorgeous dogs Fibi and Frodo, with a complimentary and most welcome beer. Richard then arrived and took our cases to our beautifully comfortable, clean and welcoming room. We very rarely have breakfast in these establishments if... More
