I stayed as part of a Riviera Travel group and we were provided with half board accomodation although I gained the impression that this hotel is B & B .The breakfasts were good but had no hot options. The evening meals were provided by an outside company and were good but choice was obviously limited. The hotel may well have been a... unfortunately no, I'm not joking. This accommodation is situated in a quite wooded valley and is comfortable, clean and peaceful. The rooms are a good size and have recently been refurbished. The breakfast was adequate though there were no hot options. The evening meals were brought in from a restaurant in Sarlat. The quality was barely adequate for non veggies... More

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of an organised tour. Hotel has lots of character and lovely grounds. Room we had was on top floor. Very spacious, good bathroom with bath. Recently decorated with air conditioning, fridge and safe. Good buffet breakfast. Evening meals were adequate, but no more. Waiting staff and reception were very friendly and helpful. Free... More

Fabulous hotel.totally individual design.excellent bedrooms and colour schemes.superb carpet. Had large room with balcony and well fitted en suite up a little flight of stairs. Great taste of France food (pastry rather tough) Wifi a nightmare but advertised as being available everywhere but wasn't. Superb grounds but bit alarming to hear the guns shooting very close because the hunting season... More

We stayed here as part of the Riviera Tour of the Dordogne and Carcassonne. We had a room on the ground floor with balcony overlooking the pool. We could not complain about this room although others in the party seem to have cause to complain. Breakfasts were fine. Dinners were brought in so had to be ordered in advance. Options... More

This could be a lovely hotel - nice country setting, but let down by slimy tatty lake, retro bathrooms, no evening meals and a very strange attitude to customer service. Stayed here last month as part of a tour group, so the hotel provided dinner especially for us as part of that. But had we been here as independent travellers,... More

Excellent hotel with very nice rooms and food. The hotel is quiet with beautiful grounds. An ideal base to tour the Dordogne. Plenty of parking, just outside of Sarlat. I would recommend the twin rooms as they all seem to have balconies.

We stayed here on a tour of the area organised by a respected travel company. It is a really lovely old hotel set in its own grounds with a lake. Our room was very comfortable -his and hers basins, king-sized double, good air-conditioning overlooking the heated outdoor pool. The food was very, very good. Four courses (cheese before dessert), beautifully... More

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of an organised tour. What a lovely hotel. Our room overlooked the pool and countryside and it was extremely peaceful. The only sounds we could hear were owls. When out one evening hubby saw 2 deer in the grounds. Our room was spacious . The food was nice with plenty of choice... More

Stayed here for four nights. The hotel is very 'quirky' which adds to its charm and it is situated in 15 acres of grounds and is very peaceful. The room we had was very spacious with both bath and shower and a balcony. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast which had lots of variety to suit all tastes. The... More
