We had two nice rooms, one for my wife and I and one for our teen daughters. They both looked over the main walking street where all the shops and street entertainment is. The rooms were large, comfortable with a fridge and a small kitchen in one. Aside from a cup of tea, we never used the kitchen. The town... More

We spent three nights at the gem of Sarlat, La Villas des Consuls, this past October, 2015. By far, it was the loveliest hotel stayed at during our three weeks in France. The rooms/suites were quite large and very well done, with the building itself quaint and rustic on the outside but on the inside, the attention to detail in... More

This place is fantastic! Perfect location in the center of town close walk to everything. David the owner is very accommodating, helping to enjoy the town. Our room was very comfy, exceptionally clean. Would definitely recommend. Would recommend following the hotel's directions, it is not possible to drive to it. Don't follow your GPS!

We spent 3 nights in "Mirabeau" at Villas des Consuls - it was our favourite place that we stayed during our trip. It's a very spacious apartment with a seating area, dining table, and little kitchen, plus a small extra bedroom with a single bed. There is a step to get up to the bathroom and toilet (which are separate),... More

This room had everything we needed for a great stay in Sarlat. The kitchen area was fully stocked, it had a nice dining room table, the bed was very comfortable, a good shower, a couch and a view of the cathedral. Add to that, the hotel had a couple of washer and dryers that were free for guests. We were... More

Sarlat was at the tail end of a three-week European vacation. The rooms here are larger than most European hotel rooms. It was nice to be able to spread out and relax in the room and not feel like we had to be out touring all day. Being inside the pedestrian area of Sarlat is a definite plus! Our room... More

We had originally booked one of the rooms, which looked nice enough, but our plans changed and because were were going to be in Sarlat for longer than expected, decided to spring for an apartment. Best decision of our trip! Stayed in La Boetie for 5 nights, but honestly could have lived there for months. Perfectly appointed with everything you... More

Our family (two grandparents, two parents, and twin girls) stayed in the Montaigne and Boetie apartments for 4 nights in August. We enjoyed two huge adjoining terraces right above the main street in Sarlat. We watched the Saturday market set up as well as the lively evening action (street painter, musicians, etc.). The best bakery, Limone, is right across the... More

A wonderful place to stay in Sarlat. Located within the wall of the old city parking is a challenge, but is available. Staff were super helpful. We stayed at a detatched two floor cottage and so did not take advantage of the hotel amenities (although we could have) Great base for exploring the Dardogne region of France.
