Many thanks to David and Ralph for helping us to enjoy our visit to Sarlat. Four days was just not enough, we hope to visit again soon. The Marabelle Suite was well furnished, clean and so quiet. We faced Rue Republic and enjoyed people watching from the balcony as vendors set up for the Saturday market. Thank you to Ralph... More

We stayed in the Montaigne apartment for three days. We are parents with three children and the apartment was very spacious. The location was perfect as the incredible market was below our terrace. During the day we drove out to the nearby villages, spent a great day canoeing and returned in the afternoon to our apartment. We enjoyed the terrace... More

Four of us stayed in the Montesquieu apartment for an entire week. Two very nice bedrooms, a wonderful and quiet balcony, full bath and potty room, and a serviceable kitchenette. I wouldn't recommend this for a party of 6 - only one potty, the last two bed spaces are on a sofa bed in the living room, and the dining... More

We just spent 2 days there, in the Ronsard room. - located in the old part of Sarlat - going there with luggages can be a bit of a treck, make sure you download the "where to park" pdf and arrive from that side of town, - the rooms are lovely and beautifully renovated - watch out that there is... Dear Guests, Thank you very much for your review. We are very happy to read that you enjoyed your stay at La Villa des Consuls. As mentionned in your comments, we are located in a pedestrian area so it is indeed very useful to print-out the PDF file with driving and parking instructions. This file is available in our website... More

We stayed in the Medicis apartment for a week after staying in one of the smaller ones upstairs for a few nights six years ago. The location right in the middle of the medieval town, the spacious rooms, the outlook over the main street into the square, the quiet internal deck with its sun umbrella, the great shower - all... It is a converted old building so there are compromises. But it is clean, spacious, centrally located to the town attractions, restaurants... It is just above a main street so it is quiet.. not that noise is ever an issue in Sarlat. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There is even a feline greeter.

Stayed 6 nights in the “Mirabeau” room, a very spacious 50sq m apartment with a small flat screen TV, table and 3 chairs, living room, queen size bed, balcony, air con, small kitchenette/dish washer/fridge/microwave/grill top, and a small extra bedroom which was useful to store our luggage in. The room overlooked the main street and had double doors to block... More

We stayed in the " Medicis" apt and we could not have been happier. Perfect in town location approx 25 yards to main square in Sarlat. Huge terrace overlooking the main street but very quiet at night. Also had a fairly large patio with table , chairs, and a couple of lounge chairs. The apt had a small but fully... More

We just returned from a two days in this hotel. Since the hotel was sold-out Dave gave us the apartment with a two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We were surprised and we really enjoyed our stay. The unit is a two floor unit with all services (kitchen, dining room, living room etc.), you can even wash your clothes. The location... More

I can see why a category of tourist would love this place: the Relais is in fact a Residence rather than a Hotel. To explain: the clean room we had, called the Boetie, was large and pleasantly situated with a balcony over the main street in Sarlat, but most of the room is taken up with a kitchen and a... More
