Really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable bed. Big bathroom. Free Internet and printing. Free laundry. Air conditioning was quiet. Not on the main street but the signs will help you make it the last 50m. No lift.

Helpful, generous, but not intrusive staff. Large, beautiful rooms with views of main drag through the zone piétonnier and/or inner courtyard of medieval houses. Excellent air conditioning. Lovely little local bar with live music on weekends next door. Rooms are soundproof. Everything is extremely clean. Great bed. For us, it's the only place to stay in Sarlat.

We've stayed with David now three times since our first visit in 2007. This time we were there for a night as part of a 3-week road trip through France in May, 2015. Previously, we were in the Colbert and Ronsard rooms. This time our family took the Montesquieu apartment. This hotel continues to please. The collection of remodeled rooms... More

Great location right in the centre of medieval Sarlat. We stayed for 6 nights in the Richelieu Room with separate bedroom, kitchen, and private outdoor area. Very well presented. Parked the car 5 mins away for 3euro per day. Plenty of excellent restaurants close by. Owner on site, very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.

A great apartment to use as a base when visiting Sarlat and surrounding country side. We were in the "La Boetie" apartment which has a great patio overlooking the main street of the old town. The apartment was large and fully stocked, meeting the needs of the three of us. Get the garage option if you have a car as... More

Staff speak excellent English. Free laundry facilities, and soap is sold at very reasonable cost. In Richelieu, full kitchen with fridge so useful; easy to have breakfast in the room, a Carrefour is just down the street. Pull out sofa bed for our kids was larger than average, nice. Strong wifi signal. Only wish we could have figured out how... More

A wonderful alternative to conventional hotels. This gorgeous collection of rooms and apartments is filled with rustic charm and comfortable facilities. We had 4 lovely nights in Room Colbert.......light, spacious, comfy, with extras such as a fridge, coffee making facilities, sofa and a huge bathroom. David, our host was extremely helpful. A huge bonus is the free laundry facilities.........a rare... More

Was surprised that this place was not more booked than it was in June noting how it's mentioned on TA and books like Rick Steves. Seemed to be quiet with more rooms empty than occupied. For the apartments - ours was Richelieu - it was clean and more than adequate. A little basic but had everything we really needed except... More

We stayed in the Mirabeau apartment for 5 nights in May and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was excellent - spacious and light-filled with all facilities and perfectly located in the centre of the medieval town. There were excellent, free laundry facilities and Wi-Fi. Management was friendly and helpful and their advice on restaurants and tourist options was spot-on.... More

Our family of five adults stayed for three nights in the Montesquieu apartment. The apartment had two bedrooms and a sofa sleeper. The apartment was very large and had a large covered terrace that we greatly enjoyed. Sebastian was a great host and helped us get our luggage to and from the car. There were washers and dryers on the... More
