My husband and I spent five nights at the beautiful guest house of the Marchants. Everything was lovely...the décor, the spacious rooms and bath, the amazing breakfasts, the gardens, Sarlat and our exploration of the Dordogne and most of all the gracious hosts! We were in a large French country home surrounded by gardens and the quiet atmosphere, yet a... More

We have just spent four days in the cottage at Les Trois Jardins. Perfect for our needs! It was nice to come 'home' after our busy and tiring sightseeing days, rest awhile in our own secluded space and then take a leisurely walk downtown to yet another memorable restaurant. The owners, Jo and Steve, are wonderful hosts - friendly, accommodating... More

We had a very comfortable room with a modern bathroom.Attention to detail was lovely and it was quiet. Our hosts Jo and Steve were very attentive and helpful to our needs. A nice relaxing feel about the whole place. The gardens were beautiful and on arrival we had a picnic lunch by the fish pond.

This was our first experience of a chambre d'hote and we were not too certain what to expect although the comments on trip advisor did set expectations fairly high. We were not disappointed. Jo and Steve are warm and generous hosts who really go out of their way to make guests welcome in their lovely home (Poppy and Rosie help... More

Although we have visited Sarlat many times, this was our first stay at Le Trois Jardin. Jo and Steve have a beautiful home surrounded by garden, and less than a 5 minute walk into the centre of town. We stayed in Monet, a pretty room with a spacious bathroom and walk-in closet. A very enjoyable two night stay with a... More

We have stayed at Les Trois Jardins a couple of years ago in the Bonheur suite, which was lovely, however this time we opted for the spacious and newly renovated Picasso Loft Studio, and were delighted with our choice, whilst we were a couple,it's easily big enough foe a family of 4-5 people Cosy yet roomy and characterful, large English... We stayed in the Picasso Studio ....the good points are a comfortable bed with ironed sheets with about a 5 minute walk to the start of the town. My sister stayed in the Monet Bedroom and it had large windows and another comfortable bed. In hindsight we should have also asked for one of the bedrooms as the suite although... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We were pleased to see you appreciated our comfortable beds, ironed linen and our proximity to the centre of Sarlat. The studio, where you stayed during your time with us is, as you mentioned large and roomy and has a slightly eclectic loft apartment feel reflective of our past lives... More

We had the pleasure of staying with British ex-pats Jo and Steve for two nights before heading to Bordeaux. They have done a great job of turning this classic Sarlat house into a warm and welcoming B&B. After wondering whether my GPS was leading me on a wild goose chase, the final turn up tiny Impasse des Clarisses finally led... More

Whenever we want to show off Sarlat and the Dordogne to family and friends, we find this B+B to be an excellent choice: -walking distance to historic downtown, -wonderful accommodations, now also with a newly renovated spacious "loft like" apartment and a garden cottage, besides other comfortable guestrooms, -fenced off gardens surrounding house and parking. The breakfast is prepared with... More

My husband, myself and our 11 year old son stayed for two nights in the Picasso suite; we did not want to leave, that is how good it was! We took the train from Paris to Brive and hired a car at the Brive train station. Note if you are hiring from Avis as we did there does not appear... More
