Stayed at Hotel Point France for 1 night in June 2014. For a 4 star hotel, I was expecting more. Below are some quick highlights of pros and cons. Pros: 1. 10 minutes walking distance from the train station, very easy to find. 2. Great location, half a block to the beach. There were lots of restaurant near by. 3.... More

This Hotel has a terrific location very close to the promenade, the main shopping streets and market. However the rooms (we had a standard double) are on the small side and the separate WC ridiculously minute. Our outside terrace at the side of the hotel was pleasant but only looked out on a high hedge. The rooms overlooking the sea... More

I was hesitant because of the mixed reviews but pleased on arrival. Some may not take to the 70's/80s nautical decor but I loved it; it reminds me of hotels in Europe in the 80s (I like that) and not in a run-down way, everything is clean and well taken care of, just of an earlier aesthetic. My room had... More

TheTomTom got us here but was a little confusing. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff and shown to our room. Wow! The view was breathtaking. Breakfast is basic and with good selection. The best part is the fresh orange juice. This is a lovely small hotel in the center of town, on the beach and all of... More

Very nice small hotel right on the ocean with a very friendly staff. They have their own parking garage and a bike rental out front. Several boardwalk restaurants right in front. The pier where the boats pick up passengers for excursions and to other side is just a few steps away. All very convenient. Problems minimal, lights in garage go... More

Such a shame this hotel on entry, looks very promising, lovely entrance. the receptionists were wonderful very helpful, the room was extremely clean even smelled of polish! Nicely decorated with a large bed and lovely terrace, or though not on the beach side could still see the sea, the disappointing aspects though were the separate toilet which was very small,... More

We stayed for one night recently. The Hotel is situated near the beach and centre of town. Our room had a small balcony and was on the street side. All the rooms seem to be on the first floor. Our room was clean and comfortable. We found the staff pleasant and helpful. English was spoken. The garage is a little... More

This hotel is very hard to write about because it is different. The town of Arcachon is like the Myrtle Beach of France (if I had to do it again I wouldn’t have gone to Arcachon), and the hotel reminds me of a hotel by the sea in the Who rock opera “Quadrophenia”. The people were extremely nice and it... More

We were delighted with the location of this hotel but not at all impressed with the hotel itself. It was like stepping back in time. The staff were really nice and friendly. I think 3 stars would definitely be more apt. It was expensive for the one night we stayed here; We were in room 17; the room was outdated... More

Great location just in front of the sea. Small and cosy hotel. Very nice rooms, all with a terrasse. You can order your breakfast and it will be served on your terrasse without charging money! Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is excellent.
