We choose to stay at this hotel for two reasons -it's location in Arcachon and it's facilities - with a spa attached. We were not disappointed. We specifically booked an Executive Room as these give you more access to the spa facilities (other rooms only allow you access in the afternoons/specified times, the exec rooms seem to give much wider... This used to be the Novotel. Its expensive and carpets are worn and dirty looking. Room large, bed comfy. Free parking. Nice location on edge of town. However would not stay again. Nice beach nearby so good for a summer stay. We stayed in november and should have choosen a city centre hotel. Did not eat here.

The hotel is in a good location but is very expensive, but this could perhaps be down to the Euro. The bedrooms are ok- not big enough really- and the bathrooms are small. The service is ok and food is nice. Good parking and easy access to other places in the area.

Good parking access, near to the beach, largeish room, clean and fairly modern. pool area a little small, and you have to pay to use the indoor pool. Arcachon was a 15-20 minute walk along the beach but there is a bus.

The Novotel in Arcachon was the first hotel that my family and I stayed at during our holiday in France in July 2009. The hotel and rooms were very clean and larger that we expected, given what we had heard about hotels in Europe. The rates were quite reasonable and we were very close to the beach. The staff were... This hotel has smallt, bare bones rooms. 2 people can not be comfortable in a room. I strongly advise booking two rooms. All of the rooms are the same. There are no suites. It also very, very noisy. Loads of children running around, lots of banging by the staff setting up the dinning room or something. Try to rent a... More

This hotel is well positioned next to a lovely beach. It has a good pool and a sea water spa attached which is free for adult guests. The rooms are quite modern and fine in my view. Just don't set foot in the restaurant. Breakfast was really rather bad (in France that is quite difficult to achieve). Worse still was... More
