The positives first: We enjoyed a very nice room on the top floor. The bathroom is nicely decorated with a lot of wood and mirrors , so you feel a bit like on a cruise ship (of the good sort). Hotel situated on the hill above the town, but walkable from the station. For what it offered it was expensive, and did not come up to the write up that we read on the Internet. The Spa treatments were expensive. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower.

Arcachon is a pleasant busy town with lots of nice shops, a lovely beach and some good restaurants and bars. We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and loved it. We have recommended it to friends who have also loved it. There is a very cool wine bar and restaurant in the hotel.
