Stayed here for 2 nights with family and friends for our wedding which was celebrated onsite. Lovely private setting in BAB (Biarritz/Anglet/Bayonne). Bedroom and living accommodation were very luxurious, clean, spacious and comfortable and kept with historical character of the property. There was a few activities onsite to keep people busy including outdoor pool. The wedding reception area was excellent... More

The Chateau is stunningly beautiful, and the rooms well appointed. The disabled rooms, which our party were allocated despite all of us being able bodied, are very smart, but the bathroom floors have been incorrectly laid. In consequence whenever the shower is used the bathroom floods. This in turn has led to the floor boards curling up and blocking the... More

My wife & I love this hotel. The staff led by the most hospitable general manager,Arnaud are without a doubt some of the best in the business. We had a beautiful room & enjoyed a delightful dinner outside sitting by the side of the lake.Magical! Breakfast was also taken outside & although its a buffet it is very good & includes... More

We stayed at the chateau for a weekend for a friend's wedding. Gorgeous setting, we loved everything about the property. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake, the pool was relaxing, and all of our meals were excellent. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing escape or for couples looking for wedding venues. We thought the price... More

Loved the tranquility of this location overlooking a gorgeous lake. Staff were fantastic especially Arnaud who is charming & professional. Loved our room, the delicious food & only wished we could have stayed longer. Just one thing the pool was closed but it was raining anyway so that wasn't such an issue.

Superb location on edge of tranquil lake. Excellent service from everyone - nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed 1 Michelin star restaurant meal on terrace on our first night. After exploring the area and eating out at lunch we opted for relaxed room service menu in lounge for our second. (Thank you previous reviewer - great idea). Rooms and... More

We had booked a lake view room but given at first a room with no view of the lake. Do the staff try you on? We were moved to a room on the first floor that had a small balcony with two chairs and a table overlooking the grounds and lake. Very pleasant. Bedroom also has a table and two... More

The hotel is right off the highway, but somehow, once you take the turn off, you are deep in the country side. It is very pretty and very peaceful. The main reception building feels like a 1920s hide-away -- which is what it was. The room was enormous, with a balcony and a great view of the property -- really... More

A lovely setting but we were underwhelmed by the welcome which was anything but. Also we spent a very chilly night as the room was cold and there was insufficient bedding. It was unseasonably cool but the management should have been aware of this. The public areas would also have benefitted from a source of heat such as a roaring... More

We stayed here after our wedding in Bordeaux and found it to be a tranquil piece of heaven.Very large and well appointed rooms overlooking the lake with beautiful bathrooms all impeccable . The staff were very kind and helpful without being obtrusive but the real jewel in the crown was the fabulous food.An exceptional hotel...well be back.
