Stayed for two nights back in 2009, with two friends. Beautiful lucious green setting, the food let us down, we are all gourmets and the food was labored and uninventive. Simply boring. But that might have changed. Rooms and property is wonderful and quiet.

Very very good! Everything was great... the house is fantastic, the room, the sauna, the hammam, the environment, the food also great! Some things that could be better: the temperature of the room (very hot), the breakfast for a 5star hotel could have more offer and have more english speakers. In general it was a 5star and probably I will... More

I came to visit family and we only stayed one night at this hotel. It is absolutely beautiful and historic. Classic French. The grounds are pretty and manicured. The hotel over looks a pond/lake. We went to main building and went to the bar. We sat outside and enjoyed a drink of cool rose wine. Very romantic. I would stay... More

We visited the hotel around mid July. This is a very charming hotel by a lake bearing the same name (owned by the hotel owner - a legendary ex-rugby player). The architecture and overall setting justify the "Chateau" name of the hotel. Very friendly staff. Great dining area. Good restaurant. Great breakfast. Restaurant is willing to prepare dishes not on... More

We returned to this property last week - we were last there a couple of years ago. We returned because I think there are some genuinely special things about the property. The buildings are gorgeous, the setting is superb and relaxing. The pool is great - large and not crowded. The dining in the restaurant is a special treat of proper... More

This should be a wonderful place to stay. A great location beside a beautiful lake, well appointed public rooms and spacious accommodation . There was just too much wrong though to recommend it. We arrived about 3.00 pm and no sooner had we given our name we were told that the restaurant was full and that we would have to drive... More

All stuff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant prepared good food for our two children after there wishes. The hotell has a nice garden and a swimmingpool. It's a very good option when you come... More

This hotel made a favorable initial impression. The main building is in the Mediterranean Revival style that was popular in the 1920s and '30s (think Hearst Castle, California, on a much smaller scale); the property is attractively landscaped and has a lake; and the rooms are well-appointed. The favorable impression came to a sudden end when I asked where the... More

We spent three days in Biarritz for the "Wheels and Waves" Event 2014. It was the best idea to have the Chateau de Brindos as homebase for the long weekend. This beautiful small luxury hotel is located at a small lake in a quite region near the city center of Biarritz. We had a very warm welcome from the management... More
