A warm welcome and a charming room looking out over the rooftops and the cobbled side streets of Ricquewir. It seems as though everyone knows about the special nature of Ricquewir and this hotel fits right in.

This was our favorite hotel in France. Very quaint and charming and reasonably priced. The rooms have large timber beams and a nice large bathroom with towel heater. The breakfast is good and they have a cellar that opens at 6:00 PM to grab an evening cocktail. And the resident dog and cat just add to the charm! Wonderful, relaxing... More

A charming hotel in the middle of lovely Riquewihr. The hotel is surrounded by good restaurants in the area and the town is lovely. The hotel offers parking very close to the hotel for 4 euro per day. The rooms are ok with good beds. A first comment is the shower in the family room. There is one but due... More

We stayed here with a group of friends on a cycling trip. The Hotel is at the bottom of the Main Street in Riquewihr on a small side street. The location is great. The outside entrance and the lobby area are picturesque and quaint, the inside hallways are the same but like a rabbit warren to make your way around.... More

This hotel, in a most attractive old building, is home to a dog and a cat. They drape themselves attractively around the reception area, have occasional gentle tussles (the cat wins), and beg for scraps at breakfast. They really do add to the pleasure of staying here - as does the self-contained bar down in the cellar that opens at... More

Superb location in a quiet side street, right in the centre of this picture-postcard town. The room was not ideal with a bathroom down steps into a sort of pit! Difficult in the middle of the night. The shower had sloping edges, with no shelf or anywhere to put soap or shampoo. The female staff in reception were friendly and... More

In general, we found this hotel to be a good place to stay. Our room was clean and comfortable in a rather faded sort of way. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly girl on the reception desk and found most staff were helpful, although one man we asked about the wifi was rather abrupt and made no attempt... More

We paid around 300 euros for 3 nights without breakfast. Car park is at 4 euros per day : upon arriving in Riquewihr, follow the city walls (village walls?) on your right, turn left at the Best Western and park your car without paying the meter : L'Oriel is about 30 yards away inside the city (follow the sign) and...
