We wanted to stay in an authentic French village with Christmas Markets. From the moment we arrived to the time we left we felt we were in a wonderland. This experience was only heightened by the terrific host in martine she made the trip. Breakfast was delicious and the town was lovely.

This charmingly old bed and breakfast place with an excellent host Martine was a nice and relaxing experience. It was like staying with a friend/s, as you shared your breakfast table (the only table) with other guests and Martine was serving. Room was very spacious and clean. Location was near the main street but still in the peaceful corner -... More

The B&B is located on a corner of the city wall, a very rustic place. It was a bit tricky to find, but in the end it was worthy! We booked the ground floor apartment, it's very spacious, clean and super cute decorated. The breakfast is fresh, simple, but enough for a good start of the day. The owner is... More

What a lovely place to stay. A spacious and clean apartment, a filling breakfast included, plus free parking. Only a minutes walk from the centre yet it was so quiet and peaceful. We went for the Christmas markets and there is a lovely one in the town plus many in the other villages around. There is a good bus service... More

Le Bastion de Riquewihr is situated on the quiet edge of a busy medieval walled village. It has easy acces to free parking (but only two spaces for three rooms so get there early in the day to reserve your space). The rooms are actually small apartments with well equipped kitchens, a living space and a bedroom. There was a... More

Great location, huge room, equipped kitchen - it is more like a home, not a hotel. They rent just a few rooms, you get a very personal service. Everything has a medieval feeling, it is like a completely different world....

We spent three lovely nights at Le Bastion and it was great. There was free parking which was a must in this town. We had a small kitchen which meant after a few weeks of travel we were able to have a few little meals in. The extra room meant we could spread out and feel more like were in... More

This is great couple of days stopover location. Comfortable rooms with a lovely breakfast and private parking, which is essential in this little town. The breakfast area contains very large and old wine press which gives great atmosphere.
