* It is a 3 stars B&B and the owners are very helpful to inform and manage your dinner in one of the many restaurants of this idyllic village. * Our superior room on the first floor had a superb view on the small centre place of this picturesque village, which is a typical Alsace village. * Breakfast is located... A first floor room overlooking the square was beyond my thoughts when booking this hotel several months earlier. I believe we were so lucky to be able to stay the two nights in a lovely spacious room and most central location in Eguisheim. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly and appear to be naturally at ease with running their... More

On our last stop in France, we saved the best for last, and stayed in the village of Equisheim. It was all we imagined- a medieval setting; vineyards surrounding the town of winding cobblestone streets, quaint shops, great architectural buildings, wine tasting, and wonderful people. Our hotel was in the center square next to the town fountain. When we got... More

The relatively new (3 years), charming owners have done a great job on the Hostellerie which I last stayed at perhaps ten years ago. The new room we had (an extension into the house next door) was spacious and comfortable, although I would recommend getting a room overlooking the plaza and castle. A charming little area for a well-stocked buffet... More

With a perfect and cozy location in the middle of Eguisheim you find this beautiful boutique hotel. Romantic rooms in very nice condition, perfect service, nice and helpful people. Only reason for nothing giving 5 is no air-condition, and Alsace is very hot in July.

A small husband and wife run hotell. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Great room. Wi-fi in the room did not work, but was OK in the lobby. The breakfast was for once well worth the price, which, alas, is seldom the case

Wonderful little gem in the centre of this wonderful typical Alsace town. The rooms are decorated in warm terracotta colours, and are spacious with all facilities. The owners are charming , friendly and helpful. And their breakfasts are the best we've had in a two week trip. Many restaurants and bars in walking distance. Plenty of wineries in town where... We stopped for a single night on our way to the Alps. We arrived late and the owners were very accommodating as we'd let them know in advance. We quickly checked in and then were sent off to dinner before the restaurant closed and it was an excellent recommendation. The room was bright, comfortable and had a spacious tiled bathroom.... We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was large, the bed comfortable and the breakfast delicious. The owners were helpful with the luggage and suggestions for dinner. This made a great base for touring other towns on the wine route. A lovely place to come back to after a long day of touring.

We spent two nights here leading up to the May Day weekend. Before booking we researched the different towns and villages and post-visit were very happy with our choice of both Eguisheim and the Hostellerie du Chateau. The village is beautiful and in the evening is quiet and peaceful. Among our other considerations we were very impressed with Kaysersberg and... More
