What a lovely place! You can see that Eguisheim itself has been "refurbished" into a tourist town to a certain extent, but the original character is so strong that it doesn't matter much, especially if you're an early riser. (If there are any Fable fans out there, it wouldn't surprise me if the developers were influenced by Eguisheim a bit... More

We had 6 weeks driving in Europe, arrived late afternoon in Eguisheim, this was the first one we looked at and booked it. Our main criteria is a clean room and this was spotless. Everything else was pretty standard, breakfast could have been better. In regards to the previous traveller with the stairs, we often smile at the airport seeing peoples... More

Very nice hotel, in the centre of Eguisheim.Very friendly. Breakfast very basic. The only fault is that the Hotel is 3 floors and there is not lift (elevator). You have to drag all your luggages upstair by yourself. Also Wi-fi is not reliable on the back rooms. This hotel has a very good restaurant.

We stayed for 2 nights at this Hotel in August. just outside the old Town walls, parking at the back of the Hotel, no A/C, so had the window open, street noise was a problem in the morning. Restaurant closes on Mondays, even in August. but the food is good, and prices fair. If you are doing the wine route,... More

We arrived in Eguisheim after a day of driving without a hotel reservation. It was raining a bit and we decided to find a hotel after parking in the public lot. Once we walked a short distance on the Grand Rue we found the L'Auberge Alsacienne, which is very charming with a typical Alsace exterior. The interior is very much... More

a great renovated hotel in the old city of Eguisheim, nice restaurants around and wine testing. friendly staff. the hotel offers a parking fir just 3€ the night. a bit strange but, we had to decide at the check-in if we would like to have breakfast the next day, and the breakfast wasn't so great, not a lot of choice,... We stayed there for one night, but were pleasantly surprised by the environment, ambiance and hospitality. The small town offered typical Alsacienne architecture. So besides a stop en route we got a nice impression of the culture. Of course there is a bunch of wineries where you can spend your money.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 1 + 1 nights. We only booked for the first night and then decided to extend our stay. Both reservation call and arrival were professional and friendly. Rooms are modern and very clean. Beds are comfortable if a bit on the small side. We had to change rooms, because our room had been... More

3 of us stayed here for one night last week. This hotel is excellent. The location is perfect - just at the start of the pedestrianized cobbled streets so our taxi from Colmar was able to stop right outside. We had a twin room and a double for single occupancy. The rooms were spacious, pristinely clean and simply but elegantly... More

The hotel is very cosy, the rooms have names instead of numbers:) The room was very clean, lovely, with everything I needed (TV, hair dryer, wi-fi, safe) I had a wonderful time there! The staff was very helpful, friendly and polite. I didn't try the restaurant so I can't comment on it, you can easily find parking space in the... More
