Staying off season in PV is not easy as most hotels are closed. This is a part of a residence which was built for the Tour de France and is therefore still new. It has the benefit of being part of the Alcyon Hotel and has excellent facilities, washing machine, kitchen etc.. Comfortable bed, 2 balconies, clean bathroom and loo,... More

hotel is located near the old town. you can walk to the old town in minutes. hotel room is very small and depressive a little bit. no minibar is available in the room. so you have to buy the drinks such as water, from the tiny bar-like counter in the small lobby. the elevator was to small to carry up... This hotel is outside of central Porto Vecchio in a hilly suburb, providing some views over the bay. However, area on opposite side of street is sort of industrial. The hotel had some updating done, but rooms are extremely small, bathrooms tiny. Hotel is generally not in the best shape. Highlight of the hotel is the rooftop restaurant and terrace.... More

The Best Western was a lovely hotel to stay in. The room was great. However, staying in a quadruple room meant technically 2 rooms with only 1 air conditioning in 1 room and the other without. Considering the heat, this wasn't the best. But other than that, the room was great, comfortable beds, lovely bathroom - towels included, flat screen... More

although clean and good located, too many details made our stay flawed. WiFi not working supposely due to my device, very expensive breakfast (but good), perilous parking lot path (and expensive), and so on... For the same price and same hotel franchise, Ajaccio Amirauté is much better! (we stayed at both). Tourists unwelcome...

I stayed a weekend in August at the Alcyon in Porto-Vecchio. My expectations were not exactly high. The Mediterranean in the high season is often overcroweded, overpriced, and marred by poor service provided by temp staff, but the Alcyon in Porto-Vecchio was surprisingly o.k. The suite room was relatively small, but well equipped and well kept. Same for the bathroom.... More

I stayed here with my parents in late August 2012 and we were treated horribly. We had travelled all the way from Australia and tried our best with French language but customer service should be universal at this type of establishment and the reception staff certainly need a lesson in that! It was up to 40 degrees and we were... More

Hello, Quite expensive (room costing 252 Euro/night), average standard, and horribly arrogant management. We woke up with hundreds of ants in our bed - as we were travelling with kids (4 years old and 2 months old) we were horrified, seeing the ants crawling inside our pillows, on our sons who both got bitten and all over the babymilk we... The room we were first given was entirely too small for two adults. In order to have enough space for us and our luggage, our only choice was to pay an additional 35 euro per night. This included a separate entry room that was very dark and had absolutely no circulation. In fact, we were unable to even stay inside... More

I stayed two nights at this hotel in October 2011. The room was somewhat small for a couple. In my case I only spent the whole day out so I only stopped there to sleep. In this sense, it was ok. The hotel was very quiet, very clean. Another good thing was the parking in front of the hotel, included... More
