My mother and I stayed at the Goeland for a week in early September, nice room but could be far better if a mirror was placed above the little table allowing you to do hair and make up near electricity points! Shower could be wall mounted too. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Menu limited however food is high... More

All the other people who have reviewed this excellent hotel were right... So what can add? Sitting in the shore side garden on classic 'Adirondack' chairs (look them up), the sound of classical french jazz wafting through the air, watching boats sail by, hearing the lap of the sea, the incredible mountain vista, the sunset from heaven... whilst drinking a... The hotel is lovely, with helpful and friendly staff. They were really helpful at finding us a hire car in what was peak season. Breakfast is excellent, and I'd definitely recommend the hotel restaurant for dinner, as it too is excellent. It's also a great place to have evening drinks as you watch the sunset. It's easy to walk to... More

We spent 10 days in this cozy and elegant hotel at room 40. The most important part of this hotel - the people working there: everybody pays attention to you and cares about you, trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you once more to everybody! Our triple room was big enough for us, though at the... More

After an extremely disappointing 2nd night at Les Grillades, glacial service and overcharged, we booked this just across the road from where we were staying. Booking was effortless and the staff charming. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with pre-dinner drinks served in the gardens looking out to the bay. We ate on the terrace at the back of... The view, the garden and the beach are very nice. Very nice trees also. But do not have dinner there. The food is really bad. Having frozen fish in a place like Corsica is unbelievable. We were 8 people and we ordere 8 different dishes. All were really poor, close from bad. Waiters and personel is very nice but cannot... More

This is the best place to stay in Porto Vecchio. The restaurants and bars are easily accessible and whilst the hotel is on a fairly busy road it is oriented towards the bay and offers a superb setting for breakfast and sun set dining. The room wasn't huge, the view restricted and only the enormous stone bath had any wow... More

We had 3 nights in the Goeland, teh setting is fantastic out front of the hotel. Unfortunately our room was at the back of teh hotel in the main block (number 20) and the airconditioning did not work. we reported it three times but had to sleep with the windows open and were woken at 6 in the morning by... This small, friendly hotel has a fabulous seaside location. The views from the rooms, restaurant and breakfast terrace are unbelievable. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, and the food and service in the restaurant was first class. This was the perfect base for visiting the southern part of Corsica.
