This really is a hotel CLUB, with a busy, lively club-type atmosphere. The site is split in half by a busy main road. If you stay the side of the road where the swimming pool, restaurant, bar and reception are situated it gets very noisy and busy at night. The apartments are quite a walk from the car park, and... Thankfully we only stayed here one night as part of a tour. It is just like a holiday camp. The rooms have a shabby chic look a bit like the inside of a beach hut. Our room was in the main building on the second floor and was fairly clean although there was still sand on the floor. The bathroom... More

Thanks for your comment. We are really sorry to hear that you don't have good memories of your stay. Our resort has more 400 rooms, it means lots of people in the restaurant sometimes. However, our staff tries to provide a personalized service to each of our clients. Finally, our rooms are regularly renovated, and we are particularly vigilant about... More

Club Marina viva is a small family hotel with nice pool. Rooms are nice and clean with air condition but no fridge.Beach is very nice, but there is a small number of sunbeds. But the biggest problem is nigh club right in front of rooms. It was a disaster! Je to prijemny maly hotel s peknym velkym bazenom. Izby su... More

The hotel is located right in front of the only disco club in porticcio! Impossible to fall asleep till 2.30 am! A real nightmare! The place is not bad but this fact is really annoying and I hate to pay to sleep into a loudspeaker instead of into a room!!! To avoid!

We stayed here for one night as part of a tour group. The hotel is divided into 2 parts by a very busy road. Our accommodation was across the road from the beach, pool, dining area, bar etc. The accommodation we had was modern & clean--- it was set up for self catering with a large kitchen/ lounge & a... Location is great. The hotel has their own sunbeds and parasols. Dinner was delicious, free red or rose wine. Bus stop, shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and small port are at the walking distance. There were no air conditioning, no fridge, no tea/coffee facilities in the room. There were not enough sunbeds and parasols at the beach. The staff was young, unkind... More

We have stayed at Marina Viva three times. Last week was the LAST EVER. They have a SIGNIFICANT noise problem and are in complete denial. Or it is at least the case on Saturday nights, and I believe perhaps Thursday too. Right across the street is a bar/ disco that lights up and runs significantly through the night on Saturdays... Just stay a couple of days around April 20th. Very good location with very friendly staff. Location is just great, 20 mins far from Ajaccio on the beach. Strongly advice to use it as point to visit around and take advantage of all you can eat buffet. Perfect for family stay

The hotel should be billed as a resort, similar to what is found in the caribbean. There seems to be an older section and a newer section. I stayed in the older section and found the rooms to be seriously outdated and in need of a refresh. If I left a piece of food out, ants got to it in... More
