Hostellerie de L' Abbaye is a very good 3/4 star hotel in a quiet area of Calvi and near to the port. Free parking is provided across the street in front of the hotel. Hotel looks very clean and welcoming and staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is extra and too expensive for someone who does not eat much at... More

This is a very good hotel. Spotless and everything felt fairly new. The location is excellent and only a short walk from the beach and centre. Car parking, usually a nightmare in Central hotel locations was easy and secure. Calvi is a great place with lots to do in the area and crystal clear waters. The l'abbaye grounds were also... More

This is a lovely old-world property and I enjoyed every minute of my three nights here. Reception and breakfast staff are friendly and helpful, their buffet breakfasts, although “French” is generous and there is lots of protein available.  I had room 311 which had a small balcony (no room for chairs/table) overlooking  rooftops. It was a double room, nicely designed... More

An oasis of calm in a busy resort, this unique hotel is well located, beautifully maintained and has very friendly helpful staff. Air con worked perfectly, sheets and towels were changed daily and there is a delightful shady garden to sit in. Downside is nowhere to hang wet beachwear and beach towels, and breakfast is an expensive extra at 18... More

The most modest of the four hotels we stayed at on an organised tour, but probably the best value. The very horticultural walls made for an attractive, welcoming building and the inside was well presented. Our room was on the small side but comfortable and reasonably well equipped. The outstanding feature for me was the breakfast. In typically French style... More

Very handy for the station. Lovely garden but spoilt by traffic noise. We didn't try the 18 euro breakfast as it seemed expensive but had some good breakfasts in nearby cafes. Pleasant and helpful receptionists. Good room, with balcony. The only disappointment was tiny bath, hand held shower and no shower screen or curtain. Otherwise good value for money.

Undoubtedly a top end 4star hotel. The fitments, fixtures, and furnishings throughout the hotel are top quality. Our double room was fabulous; spacious, so comfortable, colour coordinated, beautifully tiled floor and ensuite, large comfortable bed, sumptuous towels, I could go on and on in compliments. Despite all this there were surprisingly two minor issues in the room. There was no... More

A nice hotel in an excellent location just a few minutes from the bars, restaurants, Marina and Citadel. Mixed review of staff. The receptionist on our arrival was dismissive and unhelpful, all the other staff we dealt with were excellent. Our room which was situated on the right hand side of the hotel overlooking a small courtyard was large, quiet... More

We stayed three nights in a Terrace Room(I believe there are only two of them). The hotel is very distinctive and the public areas a are very classy. The room was very nice but small. The size was more than made up for by the large terrace with views of the bay and the city. A great place to relax... More

Beautiful hotel just a short walk to the old town, with free parking across the street. The garden is lovely by itself to linger any time of the day (many guests make themselves comfortable here to read a book). Rooms are nicely appointed with the usual comfort & extras. The lady at the front desk seems skilled in customer relations... More
