We had spacious and colourfull twin room (one double and one single bed) on the street side. If you pay extra you can get the seeview. Big bonus was that there was parquet floor not wall to wall carpet. Hotel is near everything: port, station, shops, restaurants. more

We stayed a week at hotel Balanea included in a package tour. The hotel has probably one of the best locations of all hotels in Calvi. critics in the guide were ok on this 3*...but we hated it from the moment we arrived. The hotel is in a pedestrian area so we couldn't access the hotel with the car to unload our 50kg luggage. We have stayed at the Balenea every year for about six years and the view from the sea facing rooms overlooking the harbour is unbeatable for landscape, seascape and people watching.
