We had a group of about 17 people stay over 2 days for a surprise 40th and the staff at the hotel couldn't do enough for us,they were happy, helpful and fun and joined in all our ducking and diving untill the surprise was no longer a surprise. We had a beautiful meal in the restaurant and the bar, great... More

I stayed 2 nights with my girlfriend and we both agree we would return. The room was spacious and comfortable with a view over the lake. The food was brilliant and very reasonably priced. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The hotel is a little remote, but if you're looking at it that's probably what you want. I... More

We really enjoyed our stay, the food in the restaurant was beautiful, the buffet breakfast was reasonably nice, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the facial and back massage I got was lovely and it was 20% off which was even better. There was plenty to do around the area, boat rides to Innisfree, horse riding, cycling, mining experience.... More

Just back from 3 night stay for an excellent price.Friendly welcome from the minute we arrived & we were able to check in just after 12. We had our wedding there in 2010 & staff still remembered us. ( shows their attention to detail)Understandably after the recession it is in need of a face lift to restore itself to former... More

We have just returned from a lovely 3 night stay in this hotel. After a shaky first night in the wrong type room (2 bed suite/ apartment) for our family of 5 we were moved into 2 interconnecting rooms in the main hotel by a very pleasant and professional lady called Therese who saw our problem and immediately resolved it... Due to its location in a sleepy wee town in midland Ireland, this hotel must draw the vast majority of its business from well outside the area. To help improve this, they offered a very good deal on Groupon which, naturally we availed off. It would always be hard to estimate how many of a staff would be required at... More

Very nice hotel, good leisure centre, shame that the steam room was out order. As its out of season their signature restaurant was closed, however food was offered in the bar. We ordered from the bar menu, we sat at approx 7pm within the next hour there were at least 30 diners in the bar and another 25 in the... More
