By its cover, Mother used to say and how quite right she was! Looks nothing special from the outside and what the decor lacks, the restaurant Its food, its staff, and delicious 'speckled Hen' (Not just a beer for the men!) Makes up for in bucket loads! Too thank you Penny a table attention So nice polite, Well worth a... More

I can echo many of the previous posts. Lovely big room. Huge comfy bed. Spotlessly clean. Great views from the patio doors. A bit of road noise but that was to be expected. Agree with Finchbee regarding a curtain on the glass door but as breakfast is only served until 9am, even on a Sunday, it was a good wake... More

The perils of the M6 helped us to find this little spot, after a detour to Chester. Stayed in a purpose built annex of rooms just a few steps away form the Pub dining room. Large, modern double room with lovely views out over countryside at the back. Large, well appointed bathroom, all spotlessly clean. Simple but generous breakfast provided... More

We arrived early and our room was ready so we could leave our bags to go exploring. We was in the annexe section just off the main building. It's like brand new with great double glazing, so sleep quality was really good It was lovely. Nice decor, nice bathroom and the view was beautiful. We got back early afternoon and... More

As a party of 6 we went to The castle to celebrate a friends Birthday and Retirement. On arrival the bar area was rammed full, it took us 30 minutes to have our first drink and we were then shown to our table, 50 minutes after our booking time. As a group we decided to pass on the starter and... More

Stayed overnight here after being part of a 50th anniversary party. Room, though somewhat small was adequate and very comfortable, with once again a small but adequate bathroom. The staff were very friendly and seemed to be enjoying the festivities as much as the party goers. Catering was well managed with a steady flow of both hot and cold foods... More

40th Birthday treat for our daughter, food was excellent, service great, nothing was too much trouble. They even let us bring a birthday cake, kept it in the kitchen and then brought it out with the candles already lit for us. Thank you for making it a night to remember for her.

The room was just perfect, very comfortable. Bedding was beautiful and the bed so comfortable. New and luxuriously appointed bathroom furniture.Soap dispenser by the basin could do with replacing as really difficult to get any soap out (luckily I had brought a bar of soap with me), At dinner and lunch we found the food to be very wholesome and... We had our wedding here at the Castle inn on July 31st.We had 51 guests and the dining room was just the right size to fit everybody in comfortably. Everything was wonderful from the beginning.;The staff (thanks to Fiona, Claire and Kerry especially), the food was 5 star plus, the table decorations, the accommodation and the breakfast the next morning... This is the second time we have stayed at The Castle Inn in Bletchley and it came up to our expectations as before. There is plenty of car parking and access is easy off the A41. The breakfast was very generous. We would be happy to stay there again. If you like a rural setting choose a room in the... More
