Comfortable and good enough for a small city. Don't expect too much when it comes to comfort room cleanliness, hotel needs to do more maintenance in this department. Sheets and bed are good and clean. Wifi doesn't reach the rooms at the end of 1st floor. Very weak cellphone signals on the 1st floor. Do not order beef tapa for... More

By far the best hotel in Mangagoy, Bislig, however there is not much choice there. Staff is good but don't expect fast reaction ;) Food at the restaurant is average as you can find every where in Philippines. Rooms are clean, hot shower. Wifi is working properly.

after visiting here frequently since 2008, still must say that there is no better place in town, in fact none other come close. great staff, good security, outstanding food, and accommodating management that is open to suggestions for improvement.

This place has seen better days, but from what information we've gotten from the workers, the place is at least 20 years old already. If you want a decent place to sleep, then this is the best place for miles. Clean beds, clean toilet and at the very least has a good hot shower, then this is a good place... More

My eleventh visit here (I run a charity school in town) and again, as on each previous visit, small improvements were made. Bearing in mind that the rates have not changed since at least 2008, this is a sign of caring n the part of management. This time around, I found free wifi throughout the hotel, including the rooms, and... More

Everybody seems to know the Paper Country Inn in the area, however I would hardly say that this is a swish place! I guess the lobby was not too bad, however my double room was just about acceptable, plus do expect a granny type decor. I didn't find it very clean and the metal sink plug did get blocked the... If you just need a place to sleep after along day trip and enjoying the nature this is the only descent place to stay in the area. The old woman in the front desk was quite rude so be prepared. The rooms are cheap very affordable. Wifi is in the lobby only with free misquitos to carry you in your... More

always dependable. i visit two, sometimes three times per year, and every time I speak to the owners about possible improvements, they are made by the next time I visit. newest one is wifi access, free of charge, thruout the hotel, very convenient.

I have stayed at this inn and I will say that while I did not let things "get to me", I believe that the gentleman below who called it a "dangerous place" has some merit to his claim. I stayed there in March of 2002 and March 2003 and it looks like the place has not changed much. I stayed... More

an oasis in this town, with great caring staff. the restaurant is the best in this city also, by far, and the night guard keeps trouble away. when the electricity works, air conditioning (only in the rooms) works too; their generator is not reliable.
