Well where to start....This is a 5 star hotel for location, views, friendliness, attention to detail, staff and food. On arriving at the hotel my breath was taken away at the stunning environment and setting. The porter simply laughed and said 'wait until you see your room' and he wasn't wrong .... Upon approaching our room I was greeted with... More

The layout of the resort is excellence one side face the mountain and another face the pool. Even if we are in the cheapest villa we still have pool in front of our room which work like a private pool. The room is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The good thing is it is close to a... More

The resort is on a beautiful location in the midst of the mountains. Nice rooms that allow you to stay with three small children. The Thai lay-out, swimming pool etc. all well maintained, it gives as well a great feeling walking outside hearing the elephant sounds from the near-by river. The hotel does require attention on other basic necessities. Service... More

We stayed for 8 nights and loved every one of them. Honestly I was concerned when I read some of the reviews here, but my experience was nothing but great! The place is a paradise and really close to all the activities you could want to experience. Most of the fellow travelers we met were jealous of where we were staying... More

Stayed for 2 nights, from arranging for airport transfer, to check-in, to the Spa, everything went smoothly. I chose this place for our group of 6 because we wanted to be away from the city for a couple of days and Rawee Waree exceeded all our expectations. Elephant homes (we went with Thai Elephant Home for a genuine mahout experience... More

I went to this hotel at the end of September 2013. I planned to have a really great time since it was my 25th birthday. When I arrived there, the smell of elephant's poop is all over the place, however I ignored it and tried to have a great time. I checked in and the bell boy send me over... More

Our first stop after leaving Chiang Mai for a ten day road trip, (hire car....Best way to see the North...With a GPS of course). Stayed only 1 night but could quite easily have stayed for ten! We stayed in a Villa, it had loads of room, very clean, it's own little garden, spacious bathroom with spa & shower....Just perfect. As... More

We stayed in this nice remote hotel with family and I can only give a 2 thumbs up to that resort. The pool is just amazing, the villas (executive) are so well appointed with nice furniture and ample space, it makes a perfect place to stay with 2 or 3 children. The food is just average + and driving to... More

The resort location is great with good landscape and architect decoration. Pool is so big at the center of resort surrounded by villas. Kids enjoy pool play with artificial waterfall. The coffee house beside MaeTaeng river is great in location and scenic that no any other coffee house could compare, however, we didn't taste for the quality of coffee and... More

Having read the TA reviews, my wife and I checked in for 5 days of quiet solitude, great food, and mountain atmosphere. The staff are fabulous, and the resort layout is very good. We booked an exec suite but moved immediately on check in as young families had taken over the adjacent pool. The staff offered us a smaller but... More
