Can only reinforce previous good reviews of this modern hotel, situated almost on the edge of the Bay of Kernic. We booked via Brittany Ferries and stayed for 3 nights. Our room overlooked the bay - was spotlessly clean, well equipped and warm. Great choice of buffet breakfast menu (I especially liked the pancakes and/or crepe!). Following a bracing walk... More

Spent four days in hotel to celebrate my birthday, fantastic room with a view of the bay. room itself was very clean and comfortable, double bed was "massive". We dined in two nights at the hotel and we are very happy to report that the food is very good. Breakfast is buffet style and again a very wide choice is... More

Like, it seems, many contributors, we found this hotel worth the visit thanks to reviews on this site. We spent a long w.e. there last w.e. Booked through Brittany Ferries so it was a 3 nights for the price of 2. Well worth it. Lovely views over the Bay of Kernic and miles of footpaths so you can walk as... More

Stayed here for my birthday. Had a very nice room with en suite shower. Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The rooms were kept at a nice temperature and being as it was November the heating was needed. The breakfast was good providing traditional European fayre with rolls, bread, croissants, cheese, yoghurts, eggs, fruit juices, coffee, teas,... More

Thanks to all the advice on this website about not judging a book by its cover we went with this choice through Brittany Ferries as a stop-off point for our French trip. We took the dog with us and she was very happy in the room with us and loved the walks which begin within 50m of the hotel. We... More

This unpretentious hotel in the wilds of Finistere is surprisingly good. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable and the food is very good, imaginative, plentiful and well presented. The young couple who own the hotel are charming and welcoming and go the extra mile to be helpful. English spoken.

On arriving here on a Saturday afternoon we were advised not to be put off with first impressions of this hotel. A block of white building with a few bare patches of paint. Once inside its like you're in a different world. Bright modern decor with aerial photographs of the surrounding areas on most walls. The young lady on reception... More

From the outside, the hotel looks a little like a factory, but well inside the lobby, reception and bar are nice and welcoming. The room itself was comfortable, with everything one wants from a hotel room. Comfortable bed, the thickest towel I've seen in any hotel, good servicable bathroom and shower. The decor is a little boring, it looks more... More

We stayed for three nights at Cap Ouest as part of a Brittany ferries, short break package. Although looking rather functional from the outside, the hotel is ideally situated for exploring Finistere, has great views of the bay and has an attractive and spacious reception area and restaurant. Our bedroom was also spacious, well furnished and had very modern ensuite... More

We stayed here for two nights ( Fri and Sat in April ) The hotel does look a little run down from the outside, however the interior was attractive and nicely laid out. The rooms were very clean and I would say a little larger than other french hotels of a similar price. The whole area is very peaceful and... More
