My wife and I could not have been happier with our stay with Vincent at the Chateau. Besides sitting beautifully on the spot of an old Norman castle, the Chateau was a perfect jumping off point for our D-Day tour and visit to Bayeux. Vincent was a very gracious and helpful host, arranging dinner reservations on our first night there... More

We were 2 couples staying for 3 nights in Oct. while exploring Normandy. Vincent was a divine chef who made delicious breakfasts and dinners. I still day dream about his crepes. (Where is he now?) The rooms were very comfortable, clean & pretty. The setting was dreamlike. He helped with directions & wonderful suggestions for attractions & restaurants in Bayeaux.... More

We spent 3 nights at this B&B in June. Absolutely loved the setting, we stayed 2 nights in the suite with a crazy disco jacuzzi :) Vincent was very helpful and lent us their bicycles, and we had a lovely day cycling the back roads in the area. The breakfast was excellent with a mind blowing number of options, eggs... More

We booked three nights at this picturesque B&B largely on the strength of the ratings and reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. Booking was stress-free correspondence with Vincent, and we were able to establish which rooms have baths and which have showers. Directions were easy, our room was comfortable, and we had opted for the table d'hote dining... More

Few times have we stayed at an establishment where the setting, amenities, service and food all overwhelm our expectations. Chateau de Damigny enjoys that rarefied air. My wife and I originally selected Damigny as a convenient spot from which to tour the D-Day beaches, and ended up wishing we stayed longer. The property itself is stunning, with a rich history... My wife and i spent nearly two weeks at the chateau in early September. The weather was almost perfect and the location was excellent for us. The chateau is in a rural setting but only a 5 min drive into Bayeaux. The town of Bayeaux is beautiful, a little bit touristy but not overly crowded and the local shops and... More

We stayed at the chateau with a group of friends during the WEG in August - September '14. The Chateaux has big clean rooms. Good proximity to Caen where WEG was held and close to beautiful city of Bayeux and approx half an hour drive to sights of D Day beaches. We had some early starts and Vincent was very... More

We stayed here for 5 nights, using this as our base for Normandy beaches and Bayuex. We booked following the tripadvisor comments and we were definitely not disappointed. Vincent and Corrine spent 18 months converting this into their home and 5 beautiful rooms for the bed and breakfast. The rooms are comfortable, immaculate and modern bathrooms in each. Tastefully decorated... More

We stayed just one night but it was a stunning place. Vincent and Corinne are really welcoming and have refurbished the chateau so that it is a really lovely place to stay. We also had the pleasure of dinner, do ask Vincent if he will be cooking dinner when you stay, it was superb, and excellent value too. Don't fill... More

We stayed one night here during our tour or Normandy and we wished that we had used this place as our base. The hotel was easy to find. Vincent sent us directions after we had booked. The place is beautiful and so well looked after. Our room was great - huge and comfortable bed and a large bathroom. We were... More
