We stayed two nights and enjoyed a gourmet breakfast and evening meal with the other guest. You must take advantage of the evening meal. You will not be disappointed. The evening meal last about 2 1/2 hours and consist of many courses and wines. There is an additional fee for dinner but well worth the cost! The host is an... More

We stayed at the chateau for four nights as a base while travelling the Normandy coastline. Both hosts Vincent and Corrine are fantastic and welcoming. Our room was huge, very clean and tidy. The highlight for my husband and i was the breakfast feast in the morning- fantastic!! Everything was superb and cooked fresh. Waking up to the aroma of... More

We truly enjoyed our stay at Chateau de Damigny. We stayed two nights to be central to the D Day beaches and to St Mt Micheal. It is a perfect location. If possible have a meal in house. Vincent is an accomplished chef and our meal was fabulous. Vegetables from his own garden. Wine for every course. It is an... More

Without question, the best stay, meals and value we have ever had when traveling...anywhere! If you want a home environment in a clean place with unbelievable food and hospitality...if you want to experience true Normandy countryside living with a French chef and his family...then you must stay at Chateau Damigny. The room was as old as the 19th century estate,... More

It is not easy to find but once you do, you will be pleased with your new home. Vincent the owner will greet you as a country gentleman that he is, proud of his place but humble. He and his wife, Corinne and young son, Paul, are the owners and caretakers of this wonderful historical manor. Laid back is a... More

This is classified as a B&B, and I found it when trying to find lodging four months before a trip to Bayeux. I looked at the photos and thought it looked great, but I had no idea what an experience we would have there. We opted for the "Table d'Hotes" described in an email from our host, Vincent Capon, as... More

When the owner Vincent greeted us, he was wearing his "wellies" and had just come in from the garden with his bowl filled with fresh veggies. He and his wife, Corrine, and their son, own and run the Chateau single-handedly and unbelievably well. The suite was spacious (marble fireplace!) with an additional sunroom and separate bath. The champagne was in... More

We loved our stay at Chateau de Damigny. The owners were gracious and friendly, the suite was gorgeous, the breakfasts and dinner were gourmet and so delicious. The dining experience with fellow travelers was amazing. One must have a car or a driver to stay here but it is such a wonderful respite and a very nice location for exploring... More

Vincent & Corinne are the perfect hosts, as many of the other reviewers have said we only wished that we too could have stayed longer. The cooking was at an amazingly high standard too, all in all a great experience.

Not only is this a beautiful place to stay, but our hosts treated us to a sumptuous breakfast each morning. We had a lovely suite with a sitting room in the veranda overlooking the garden. Perfect location to visit the D day beaches, and Bayeux. The chateau has been lovingly restored and is very elegant. Thank you to our gracious... More
