Been there for years, get worse and worse rooms despite being a regular. Still no WiFi in the rooms, Ethernet cables at reception. Quality of rooms and service still high, but only in the rooms with Lakeview, avoid the others. more

We had the most wonderful stay at the Aquila D'Oro. It was classy, quiet and cosy but the staff were always attentive and helpful. An extra thankyou to Tanja for making us feel like we were special. The lake view room gave us peaceful sunset views with the locals (and their obviously much - loved dogs!) enjoying relaxing fishing and... more

This was my second stay at the Aquila d'Oro, and I have to say it was good before - but now is excellent. The hotel itself is literally on the lake, and not really in Desenzano (rather Rivoltella, a suberb), so I would definitely reccommend it for those who have a car - otherwise try something more local.
