My husband and I stayed st thus hotel at the beginning of our cruise in early May 2015. We loved it. It was near to the lake,nr the train station which we used to visit Verona but can be used for lots of other places too. It took 20 minutes to reach Verona on the fast train. The food was... More

We stayed just over a week ago as part of our Great Rail Journey and absolutely loved this hotel from start to finish. On arrival we were warmly greeted and the room was spacious light and very clean. It felt really homely and comfortable. The staff are all helpful and approachable and the chef was so lovely and made such... More

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of an Imagine Cruises hotel/cruise holiday. The hotel is furnished in a quite modern style with the rooms somewhat minimalist - a bit of a shock at first. However the room was a good size for our visit and the bed was very comfortable! Beware of the step up into the bathroom.... More

I stayed in this hotel with my three sisters for three nights recently. I would highly recommend it . The staff were so welcoming helpful informative and friendly. The hotel is quite small but really clean and luxurious. There is a lovely pool and comfortable lounge there. The bedrooms are spotless and very comfortable. It's very central for dining out... Pleasant hotel with good rooms. Air conditioning and balconies. Food excellent. Be warned it is not very near Lake Garda. Pleasant walk downhill but long slog uphill,at the end of a long day especially if weather hot. Takes about 25 mins. Just be warned that if you pay for anything, drinks, mini bar items during your stay, insist on a... More

Dear Madam, we are amazed that you're not leaving Italy and already have reviewed our hotel ... you could eat cake with your fellow travelers, instead of writing immediately on tripadvisor. We are sorry about the inconvenience, you had already paid your drink from the minibar and the maid who cleaned the room, not knowing this, did the ticket to... More

We stayed at The Hotel Desanzano with a Great Rail Journey holiday and had looked at reviews prior to our trip. We were not disappointed, the hotel was immaculately clean, a good size room with balcony and a very good hairdryer. The staff really friendly and very helpful and even posted my boot back to England, which I managed to... More

My wife and I spent 3 days at this hotel prior to joining a cruise ship, and we could not have wished for a better start. The hotel looked nice on Google earth but it was even better in the flesh. The place was spotless top to bottom, the staff fell over themselves to be helpful and the meals were... More

My husband and I stayed in the hotel as part of a package Imagine Cruising holiday. The room was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. There is a communal roof top balcony on the third floor which has lovely views over the lake and mountains. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of items to select from the buffet. On... More

Stayed here for a week whilst on a Great Rail Journeys holiday. Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean. All the staff were cheerful and couldn't do enough for you. Food was lovely and they catered well for me despite my gluten allergy. Would stay here again (yes it's at the top of a hill, but it's a pleasant walk and it's very... More
