We spent a week here with three children 8,5 and 1. It was ideal. Had a two bedroom apt, very spacious and clean (could have done with a kettle and wine glasses!) and with air con if you needed it. If I had to fault this hotel it would be for the lack of a kettle in the self catering villas, and the provision of an ironing board but could not find an iron. We always stay in a villa whenever we go 2 Villa Maria. It's great for adults who want to relax with childern. This is not the place to go if you are looking for nightlife. I stayed here on a group tour. I can agree the hotel was beautiful for Italy standards. Good thing we were on a tour with a bus that took us places, cause the location wasn't so great. This is a good family hotel in an area with lots of amenities. This year was our third trip to this hotel and the region. The villas in the garden are fine, reasonably well maintained and generally kept clean. We had good weather which is not always guaranteed so close to the Dolomites. Quite simply a fantastic hotel! We have just returned from two weeks satying there and I cannot fault it. We stayed in a villa within the hotel grounds and it was immaculate (although a kettle would have been useful). The grounds are immaculate and very well kept. We have just returned from a 10 night stay with our 2 children. We stayed in a large family room, which was perfect for us and our sons. If you are staying as a couple, or perhaps with one child I would recommend room 148 it a wonderful terrace. The hotel has a lovely pool with a small childrens pool... more
