My partner and I had stayed here in 2007 and I decided then it would be the perfect place to bring my whole family when the grandchildren were old enough to enjoy it. Seven years later, August 2014, they were the right ages, 13, 11,10, and 9, and we all had a wonderful time! Each family had its own apartment,... More

Excellent location for gaining easy access to the Lake and Ferries from Desenzano, loads of nice reastaurants in nearby town and also in Sirmione. You will need a car to be able to get out and about. Castle is charming and the gardens are fantastic with lots of space for children to run around in, the infinity pool is wonderful... More

I've been staying there with my partner for 6 days and I must say it's just a beautiful spot. We had an apartment with balcony facing the lake. The pool was nice and clean and from there you could see the lake as well. The room was furnished with a kitchen and had a spacious bathroom. People are very friendly... More

I stayed here with my husband and two young children in July 2014. We had an apartment with a balcony looking over the lake, and the view was beautiful. With two young children it was important to have the kitchen. The children are the only reason we go self-catering at the moment. The kitchen had a stove (three hobs, one... More

Spent here 4 nights with family. The appartments are fully self-service, if you expect a nice restaurant or additional service from staff then this is not your place. Perfect for families. A bit out of central area of Desenzano Del Garda but in exchange very relaxed, quiet place. The appartments are nice, specious and bright, fully equipped. As a plus... More

Unfortunately, Castello Belvedere was not as promised. The furniture in the rooms and at the pool is dated - circa 1980. The neighborhood is not nice. There is essentially little to no view. The journey to the room is a long one involving stairs (no option) and apparently no help in carrying the luggage. My husband sat on the bed... More

Me and my mother spent here a wonderful time in June 2013! First of all, many thanks to Mauro! He is just amazing! The best service ever!!! Swimming pool was very nice, especially in the early morning, without people, just with birds singing around.. The view from the balcony (especially sunrise) was very charming. The location was also perfect. And... More

Our mistake was to get excited from the beautiful pictures on the website and not read the fine print. Yes the building is beautiful from the outside - but much less so from the inside, unless you pay extra for a balcony to the lake. We were given an apartment on the top floor with tiny windows. The air conditioning... More

Extremely beautiful views 5 minutes out of town. I thought it was a beautiful place I gave it a 5 star my son and my mother gave it a 4 star (my mother gave it a four star because there was no breakfast). The beds were hard but when we woke up no back pain. No heater in pool so... More

Stayed here several times since 2001, last time in 2012, and tried all size apartments (from 6 people down to 3). The view is unique, the place makes one feel like a 18th century aristocrat living in a palace (or a portion thereof). Best if you have a car, as the place is 15 minutess or so from downtown Desenzano.... More
