Very nice hotel. Room was a very good size and was decorated tastefully. Bathroom was of a comfortable size, had a shower with very functional doors, and actually had a light switch on the inside. The proprietors were wonderful. Breakfast was consistently good, including homemade pastries that were excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

This charming hotel is more like a bed and breakfast - decorated with loving care to detail, and run the same way. And the breakfast! - you might want to avoid this place if you have a problem with a sweet tooth. I really love being able to just ask for a latte, cappuccino, or whatever and having it made... We first stayed at Hotel Etruria in 2014 when location and low cost were the overriding attractions. In truth the place was looking just a little "tired" both inside and at the "garden" in the rear, outside, too. Contact in 2015 brought the response that the Morretti family were new owners so, still attracted by location and [bearing in mind... More

Though the building is historic, the rooms are thoroughly updated and modern. The hotel is in the perfect location for enjoying everything in Volterra. Even with its central location, the room was very quiet. The best part of the experience, though, is the hosts. They were just as nice and helpful as they could possibly be. The English is a... After a long day in the car driving from Switzerland, our accommodations fell through and thankfully we were able to find a booking at the last minute (11pm last minute) and were so delighted to be greeted by our gracious host. He showed us to our room, fed us breakfast and was able to accommodate us another night so,that we... More

Our room was quiet and clean, with personal decorative touches. The breakfast was abundant. Hosts were kind, taking our luggage early, and feeding us an early breakfast before we left. There is no elevator, but they carry your baggage to your room. It is very close to the bus stop, and nestled into the winding streets of Volterra.

This is a charming family run hotel right in the heart of beautiful Volterra. The friendly owners are so helpful with anything needed or asked. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The breakfast is an absolute treat. Apart from plentiful basics, the extra tastings are delicious. We loved our stay at Hotel Etruria

The best thing about the hotel are the Hosts: Paola and Daniele. They are very welcoming, caring, warm and attentive hosts. Next is the "Breakfast" - one of the best we have had over the years of traveling in Italy. All the usual but some special pastries, and little touches and beautifully laid out. The cappucinos are also exceptional. Room... More

The owners of this hotel are extremely helpful and nice. Breakfast was fantastic. The hotel is in the perfect place of the city. We also love taking some wine and enjoying the rooftop. Love this place!!

This was perfect for a weekend stay. Nice rooms, right in the centre of Volterra and within walking distance of everything! The host couple were very helpful and the breakfast was very good. The hotel has a nice little garden which takes you directly in to the park where the Acropolis is. (closed at the moment). The museums are a... More
