Main point of disappointment is the food - standard, school dinner quality; no signs of local products or recipes; poor presentation and sometimes very poor quality; dessert only twice a week and one of that was an ice-cream served in a plastic cup!! That's disgraceful for a 4star hotel. Room clean and nice; bathroom too small; bed mattress too old.... More

We arrived late into Cagliari and drove for an hour expecting the hotel to be near the centre of Villasimius (on all the websites it say it's a kilometre from the centre). It isn't. After some frantic calls to the reception we finally found it, five kilometres out of the village on the Cagliari road. This could be a problem... More

Definitely not a four star hotel, the rooms were basic and tired. The food was excellent but drinks were exceptionally expensive. A small bottle of still water was 2euros and there was nowhere nearby to buy things. We stocked up with wine and water from Villasimius which was a ten to fifteen minute drive away. We bought the same bottle... More

After reading a number of bad reviews about this hotel, I was really worried about staying here but thought I just take the risk and give this one a go... and to my amazement, it was actually a nice hotel! To start off with, I stayed at the hotel with my partner and it was for 5 nights on a... More

Me and my partner stayed in this hotel in september 2008 for 1 week. The hotel is lovely and right on the beach, which was a lovely sandy beach too. The staff at the hotel were nice enough, though the receptions staff and bar staff were very friendly. The was not many english staying at the hotel or in sardinia... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Club Valtur Capo Boi, located directly on the sea with view on Capo Carbonara Bay, is one of the most fascinating resorts in Sardinia's southern coast. The hotel is designed in an impressive Moorish architecture. It is dipped into an oasis of Mediterranean vegetation, with luxuriant bougainvillea and fresh pinewood typical of maquis. The hotel, consisting of a unique block of two floors with the rooms and the services, is perfectly harmonized with the surrounding environment. Luxuriant palms delineate paths that lead to the beach of white sand, surrounded by a granite promontory and transparent waters. ... more   less
