We stayed here for 4 nights during our honeymoon and fell in love with Vico Equense. The town is much quieter and much more authentic than it's neighboring city of Sorrento. There are a lot less tourists and it's cheaper to stay here so you can stay in nicer places, like Hotel Sporting. Vico Equense is on the Circumvesuviana train... More

Unfortunately only a one night stay, whilst on a Trafalgar tour. Location and views absolutely excellent. Hotel set on a cliff with great views of the Bay of Naples with Mt Vesuvius as a back drop. Take the lift down through the cliff and out to beach. Where our group enjoyed a lovely afternoon of swimming in the Med. Dining... More

The hotel location is excellent - right on the cliff and also in walking distance to city center. Large window - the big blue sea is always there. comfortable bed, large room, with refrigerated mini bar, and location is great - 100m from hotel one of the finest pizza places in the area - PIZZERIA DA FRANCO. wifi not always... The Hotel is well situated, built high above a small beach and with views out across the sea to Ischia (from some but not all rooms, you need to specify when booking). I had a reasonably sized but sparsely furnished room. Dining room has the same marvellous view, though I only used it for breakfast. Reception staff pleasant though with... More

I think it is ironic that one of the stars fell of their sign. I am not sure what makes this hotel a four star hotel?!! Truth be told, we booked very last minute so we didn't have much choice. First a few positives: the view from the lobby and the dining area is beautiful. The staff and food at... More

I was memorable 3 days in our life. We had a room on the first floor with a balcony. There is a beautifyl sea view with Vezuvio, Napoli and islands in the sea! Clean, fully equipped and free private beach with elevator from the hotel. I never forget this place!

After all the critical reviews posted here, we prepared ourselves for the for a bit of run down hotel, but one with a room with a view that would make everything else tolerable. We were really surprised for the best. All the staff were helpful from the warm reception to recommendations about transportation and restaurants. The hotel is Mediterrainian, which... More

Amazing views but the hotel itself was very basic. I only stayed for one day on a business trip and it was out of season but I wasn't impressed at all with the room; it was very basic, and the bathroom had a bit of mould and tiny shower. I loved the lift and tunnel down to the beach (but... More

Hotel got great location, but it is only one good thing witch I can say about it. Room was small with old fashion furniture, got tiny bathroom with horrible condition (mould in shower).Even towels was poor quality (was looking more like kitchen staff than proper bath towels). Got private beach but You need to pay for sunbeds. It's horrible to... More

Since Hotel Sporting is built into the cliff hanging over the Tyrrhenian Sea. This makes every room a room with a view and the view is splendid. The rooms all come with a very nice breakfast with table service for your drinks and a buffet for the rest. The offerings range from sweets to savories with cereal, fruit and yogurt.... More
