the beds are like sleeping on the ground....rock hard...likewise the pillows.....the shower is fine for a child but next to useless for a full grown man....the staff is ok but not overly helpful....no lift so if you have heavy luggage you are out of luck...if you are older or have mobility problems this isn't for you....it is close to the... My boyfriend and I have just come back from a weeks stay at Hotel Spinelli. We must admit that when we first arrived we were a little disappointed - the hotel is down the back streets and rather small (do not be swayed by the professional photographs!) We checked into our room and quickly saw that it was basic -... More

We stayed here for one week and it is a totally ok hotel for the money you pay. It is very clean, has a nice breakfast buffe and a small garden where you can enjoy a whiskey from the bar. The service was splendid from some of the employees but a bit nonchalant from a few others. Nothing that bothered... More

If thus had not been a work related trip and in walking distance to the shipyard and local eateries I would have moved the first night: I may as well have slept on the floor: In fact it would have been more comfortable and not had the plastic bed wetting sheet on that made you sweat..and the bed being a... Exceptionally clean, firm but comfortable bed, friendly staff, buffet breakfast. Everything I needed. Near the shipyards which was great for me. Wifi only useable in the lobby which is a bit of a nuisance.

The hotel bedroom was clean and beds comfortable, but that's the only positive I can say about it. The booking site I made the reservation through claimed the rooms had balconies, sofa beds, in-room wired internet, bathrobes, complimentary bottled water. It does NOT have any of these items. The only internet is a charged wi-fi service in the lobby area.... More

This rather small hotel is situated off the beaten track but still close to the main attractions of Viarregio such as the beach and the main promenade. The staff are very friendly and helpful[they reccommended an excellent fish restaurant 5 mins. walk away], its clean and serves a good breakfast which is included in the rate. Plus free street parking... More

Very friendly staff, clean rooms. Enough space. Good breakfast. Cheap bike rents. Very conveniently situated. Calm area. 5 minutes walk to viareggio's promenade and sea. 5 minutes walk to the wood. Very good restaurants nearby. Free parking space at one minute walking. Little garden but take your anti-mosquito :-)

Stayed here with my daughter for a trip to the Puccini Festival at Terre del Lago. It's a convenient location as it's on the right side of town and the car journey takes little more than 10 minutes. The reception was friendly, the rooms cool and clean and breakfast splendid. The beds were a little hard but it didn't stop... More
