We stayed at the Astoria this October, and we found the location convenient - walked from the train station and were reasonable close to the shore. Whilst this hotel was good in terms of rooms, cleanliness and breakfast, the indoor pool was a bit like a council swimming baths - very uninspiring with a few rusty pipes and nowhere to relax.
