I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at la petite maison. I came to viareggio for a relaxing beach holiday and although the town itself is pretty touristy the hotel made my trip. You can hire a bike for the day at a cheap price, and the breakfast was delicious. The owners did not speak much English but communication was fine and... More

This little family-run hotel isn't on the beach, but it is near the busy market-center of Viareggio and only a few blocks from the train station. I enjoyed the personal attention and the comfort. This is not an anonymous chain place.

We stayed in this hotel during July. It is a very charming hotel but our stay was ruined by some money being stolen from our room. I wasn't going to review but have just seen a similar comment on another holiday website by a Russian lady who stayed here in August so obviously our experience wasn't a one off. The... More

We stayed here for 2nights and it was fantastic. Lovely family run b&b with everything you could wish for on your doorstep. The rooms were spotless and very quaint with nice little balcony to sit on. The bathroom is small but exactly as it's advertised on the web, if you like modern hotels this will not be for you, however... More

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip around Italy. We booked it based on the homely look from the images - very quaint and a little quirky. It certainly is unlike anywhere else we have stayed. The hosts who run this small B&B were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast included in the room rate was very tasty... More

We had a really enjoyable stay at La Petite Maison. The beautiful property is run by a lovely Italian couple who ensured we had all we needed, including a fantastic breakfast of fresh pastries, coffee and cereal amongst other tasty things. They were also very helpful for recommending visits to locations off the beaten track where we spent some amazing... More

Second stay at this little family owned hotel, very warm atmosphere and really nice people who makes you feel so welcome. The rooms are decorated in an old-fashioned way and we specially recommend Tiffany with a perfect terrace for breakfast. We will be back for sure.

Welcoming family run business with the personal touch. We have no Italian but that really didn't matter. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and make a great breakfast. The rooms are individual and quirky and the air con modern and effective. The beach is a good ten minute walk and the parking a bit of a pain but the... More

A lovely small hotel, run by a couple who were really helpful and accommodating - we stopped for a week, and they made us very welcome - umbrellas when it rained, and warm drinks every night. The hotel is easy to find, close (but not too close) to the train station, and about 10 minutes from the beach and harbour. It... More

Not far from the beach, bars, shops and train station. We only stayed one night but perfect for what we needed. Lovely family run business with very helpful staff! Stayed in room 'Sophie' and they didn't even know my name before I got there!! Unique, boutique rooms with lots of character.
