Well furnished, small, charming. Breakfast is good, hotel's location is very good. The staff is well trained. Summarizing - recommended. I am ready to return there if visiting Verbania again. Note: free parking lots are in 150-200m from hotel's entry. We did not feel it as an issue.

This is a charming little hotel on the shores of Lago Maggiore in a quiet corner of Verbania. We were offered a suite on the top level with breathtaking views of the lake. The room was spotless and the staff were friendly and very helpful in every particular. The breakfast menu was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this... More

I really loved this hotel. It is located in a good area, and has a wonderful view ( I guess depending on which side of the hotel you are staying in. Even if you're not facing the main road, its still a nice view and has a small balcony. I stayed in a room with a small balcony, my family... More

A well furnished comfortable room overlooking the lake. Helpful efficient staff with good English, who recommended the restaurant next door for dinner, where we had an excellent meal. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent. All this just 15 minutes from Stresa. What more could you want at this price? We came on the ferry after riding the Funivie at Laveno... More

Stayed here twice now and we were delighted both times. The rooms are large and well furnished. Breakfast is served in the bar and is excellent. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are plenty within 5 mins walk. The staff are extremely helpful and speak good English. The rooms at the front have a superb view and... More

Except for the parking, it was a fine hotel. Great service, good restaurant suggestions, central location. We had a view of the lake from our balcony, and the old city center was a short walk away. The Lake ferry was great fun as well.

Visited here late august beginning of September 2010. This is a family family run small hotel on front of Lago Maggiore. Staff extremely helpful, speak good english. Breakfast is enough and always in full. Rooms big enough, neat, but bed a little too hard. Keep the front door closed as otherwise people on the front will have a full view.... More

really surprised at how good this hotel was. The location is perfect and the staff were very helpful in finding out information for us. The only complaint is that the beds are a bit hard

we stayed on the 4th floor with a l lovely lake view. The room was called a suite but that was stretching it a bit far IMHO. Room was comfortable with a sofa and chairs and also air con. Breakfast was fine for me with a reasonable selection. We always ate early so never experienced anything in short supply. Parking... More

Aqualdolce is an okay hotel. The rooms are roomy and clean and we had one facing the lake. Unfortunately the weather was the absolute worst with rain and heavy fog so we did not benefit from it. I found the beds not all that comfortable and the shower in the bathroom left things to be desired. There is no parking... More
