I spent two nights at the Ostello di Verbania together with my boyfriend. We had a room with an own bathroom. It was clean, but very simple. Especially the bathroom reminded me of my last school trip. But well, it was also very cheap. The lock of the room is very simple, too, so you can not leave valuables in... More

Two friends and I stayed at this hostel for one night. The room was clean, friendly staff and breakfast had good variety. But make sure you bring your towels and also slippers/flip-flops. The floor was cold and also when going to bathroom, they are quite handy. The room I stayed was co-ed and there were 8 beds. Since we were... More

Perfect location, for everything and everyone - 5min to the local restaurants and burs, 10min to the park, 20min to the port. Parking for free, wi-fi for free and was working really nice. Variety of the rooms, from double to 9 persons. Bathrooms were clean and big. I will not risk and leave the expensive and important thing in my... More

This hostel is within a beautiful old house within a large plot of land on top of a hill in Verbania. We had a private twin room booked but for some reason we were given a double room with two additional twin beds. The rooms were basic and the decor was very tired and this was the same for the... We were in a private room and for the price the quality was poor. Badly lit room, terrible shower (you can't control the temperature, it's a button like in public toilets. The pressure of water is so high that it hurts). No internet in the bedroom, only in the lobby. We had 2 separated beds too.

We stayed for 4 days in late July. Despite the busy time we managed to book 4 nights the morning we arrived (since we didn't have a credit card). For the first night, we got a nice and spacious double bed room (shared bathroom). For the following 3 nights, we had to switch to a dormitory (shared bathroom). - very... More

The location is perfect - just a short walk to the waterfront. We went to Jambalaya Cafe and it was a fun place to get drinks and food. We were the only people staying at the hostel on a Friday night, but we had a blast. There is Nintendo and game stations, a book trade, and an amazing breakfast in... More

This was a sad experience. The location indeed is nice and the building impressive but that's about it. Very sad because the place could be nice. But obviously nobody cared at all for a long time. It is run down and things are old, wobbly and broken. We froze sleeping on old and cheap matrasses. We didn't dare to take... More

Stayed here for 2 days in May. The area of Verbania & around lake Maggiore is absolutely beautiful, and as you would expect prices are high so this was the cheapest option for Verbania at 50 Euro per night. The location is ok. To get to the Lake you have to walk down a very steep cobbled walkway, which in... More

This hostel is located in a stunning villa in the upper class neighbourhood of Verbania: Castagnola. Don't go there without a proper map or satellite navigation or you'll get lost. Castagnola is a maze: narrow, winding streets. It is also recommended to explore the surroundings with a car. The two city centres of Verbania (Intra and Palanza) are a few... More
