We've stayed at Hotel Europa on several occasions, and believe it is the best for it's location and value in the area. Only a half hour drive from Malpensa, and close to Switzerland, and many of the lake regions. Just a few steps from the hotel are many shops, bars, and restaurants to enjoy...Varese is a great little town to... more

We didn't have any bookings for the night and we've looked for a hotel for about 3 hours. We finally decided on Hotel Europa although it was expensive for us (100 Euro / night) becasue it started to be late and we were very tired. I had a comfortable short stay at this hotel, It is in a great location near shops, restaurants, bars etc. Great people watching!! I had been traveling throughout Italy and had a couple days free as I was dropping a friend off at the airport. This was the perfect place in relation to Malpensa. The hotel staff was very accomodating.... more
