My husband and I stayed at the Palace Grand Hotel in August 2008 for 4 nights and we had a lovely time. The rooms are really nicely renovated. Stayed at the Palace from the 14th through to the 17th July...great location on the hill above Varese and centrally located for Lakes Maggiore and Lugano.
