Perfect location, right next to Tropea main pedestrian street, and few minutes steps down to the main beach. Very clean, spacious room and bathroom, great facilities-free wi-fi (excellent connection), even beach towels and flip flops were there. The breakfast was amazing. There were welcoming and friendly owners. They were helpful and available at any time. Our room was not very well... More

Having recently toured Italy for a month staying in many hotels, this B&B residence is simply the best..... location, charm, sophistication, the absolute attention to every detail, cleanliness, the best breakfast choice....and the absolute friendliness of both the owners, Sharon and Biagio who help in any way they can to ensure an incredible stay in Tropea. We stayed for 3... More

B&B Portercole was the third stop on our Honeymoon in southern Italy. The location is brilliant, right in the heart of the old town. You step out of the door and you are just a two minute walk from steps down to the main beach. Behind you is the buzzing nightlife area, a Piazza fringed by bars. Ahead of you... More

The family (2 adults and two children) stayed at Portercole in June 2014 for two nights, staying in the Ulysses and Sirens rooms on the first floor (stairs only). These are the two double rooms with views of the town; parents in one room and kids in the room directly across. Both had large bathrooms, were very clean, comfortable, cool,... More

OK, maybe not so perfect in that we had to stop at the flower shop to find out where it was located (GPS next trip), after that, perfect. Biagio and Sharon made a hands-on study of the high-end hotel business and then set to work to replicate it with four rooms. You can walk anywhere you might want to go... More

This is a very comfortable B+B in the centre of Tropea. The hosts are very accommodating and everything is very luxurious, in particular the bathroom. They also put the heating on when we were there in March, as it was quite chilly. Excellent breakfast too. The only thing is the bed room art; I am sorry it is appauling. Hence... More

Me and my mother stayed at the portercole for 1 week. As we showed up on easter sunday evening, the owner first helped us finding a parking place in getting in the car and driving with us. So the first impression was extraordinary positive and we kept this the whole week. The owner are very friendly and supportive. The rooms... More

Great B&B. Well designed, equipped and clean. The breakfast was good, had a variety of food choices and the staff was very helpful and kind. The B&B is located in a great spot in Tropea. Parking in the area could be hard in the main season, but we are sure that the staff can help find a suitable space. Be... More

We have just had a great stay at this B&B. Sharon & Biagio, despite being relatively new to the business, are hosts who can't do enough for you and are always willing to help. The room was very clean and had a generously sized bathroom. The bedroom was easily dark enough to prevent you from being woken early by the... More

This B&B is located right next to the pedestrian area with its shops and restaurants. Once you walk in, you quickly realize that lots of effort was put into this place. Rooms were nicely furnished, very clean and modern with all amenities including a minibar, beach towels and flip-flops. Breakfast was served buffet-style with a large variety of hearty, sweet...
