Rooms were pleasent enough although by the general appearance of the hotel in general was far from a **** status. The carpeting throughout was a general disgrace and needs urgent replacement. The Staff were very good and spoke good english. The catering skills left a lot to be desired. If you want to try Italian food - eat out! more
After reading such negative reviews we were really surprised at the quality of this hotel. It was not noisy. Our room was large and cleaned every day. Plenty of fresh towels. Food very good. Plesant staff, many of whom spoke excellant English. Well placed for Torbole centre. more

I really enjoyed my stay here. Yes, the resort is quiet but that is what I was looking for. I would advise people to do research before booking any holiday and then there are no surprises. We want to say, that, as you write at the end of your review, you choosed the "wrong hotel", because this is a Family Hotel. There are here many families with children, especially in July and August...

Dear sir, regarding the parking, the car parking is adjusted to the room capability. In front of the hotel, cars park one behind another, but to not cause stress to our customers, our staff worry about parking and moving, if necessary, our clients' cars. Best regards The management
We have just spent 5 nights at the Hotel Caravel in Torbole on Lake Garda. The hotel is a modern, concrete structure, located within yards of the steep hill that is the main road into the village. What a soulless hotel! This hotel was opened up for the Christmas/New Year period - It should have stayed closed! Dear sir, we are sorry about the feeling you had during your stay at the Hotel Caravel. We can assure you that our staff is used to work during new year's eve, as working all over the season, trying to make comfortable the stay of our guests. Regarding the rooms, there's a thermostat in every room, to regulate the temperature....
From the moment we booked the hotel to when we left the hotel staff couldnt do enough for us. They gave us very detailed instructions on how to get there from the airport. The reception staff were great spoke very good english and constantly giving help with regards to markets, local buses and ferry's! our room was superb still smelt... more
Booked this holiday through lastminute.com, approx a month before departure. To Lake Garda, the deal was 4*, half-board, with a pool but would be allocation on arrival.
