Stunning location on a black sand beach. Wonderful views, comfy rooms and welcoming staff. A perfect place to stay on this wonderful gem of an island. The volcano climb is a must do thing when you come to Stromboli. Not for the faint hearted but worth every second of the trip.

We enjoyed our 3 nights on Stromboli at the Miramare and it's hard to fault the hotel at all (apart from the paper-thin towels perhaps) but it does seem to be stuck in a bit of a time-warp! Breakfast is good but there is no other food, and they don't seem to serve alcohol after 10pm. It is however very... More

We were picked up by Franco in a yellow Ape at the port and taken to the hotel. The hotel is on the peaceful side of town, but I don't think there is a bustling side of town. Lilliana, Ann Marie and Franco are great staff as are the room cleaning people. (I probably screwed up the spelling) 2 days... More

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Met at port and taken to the hotel with bags. Room has own veranda looking over the sea. Away from the majority of restaurants and bars which may put some off. For me, I preferred the silence that it brought. And it's not as if anywhere is that long a walk anyway. And it's... More

We were picked up by the hotel from the port and the service was very friendly. When the boats were cancelled for 24 hours because of bad weather, the hotel were very helpful and booked us back in for an extra night as well as delivering us and our luggage to the port the following day. Lovely views although a... More

We stayed one night at the Miramare to walk up Stromboli with Magma Trek. The hotel was extremely accommodating. They would have picked us up from the ferry in a golf cart (Stromboli is mostly car free) and they dropped us off for our 7:15am ferry the next morning. As we would miss breakfast, they even left a selection of... More

We stayed on Stomboli for just one night, but were very glad we chose Hotel Miramare. We booked via email and a quick phone call. The hotel was away from the chaos of the port and a transfer was included. Our room was simple, large and clean, with quite a large bathroom! The rooms all overlook the main black sand... More

We booked this hotel directly with the hotel via Email. We paid €90 per night for a king bed with ensuite and private balcony overlooking the lava beach, ocean & Stromolicchio. Free Wi-Fi & breakfast included. The whole booking process was very easy & effective. I had a few questions during the booking process which was answered promptly and in... More

I spent 4 nights at Hotel Miramare in Stromboli with some other friends. The structure of the hotel is very simple but the position is excellent. The owners are super nice and kind. I definitely suggest to stay there for a short visit to Stromboli.

I managed to get my single room with only 3 days notice. Located across the road from the sea, with a free beach right in front. Room was clean, comfy & homely. Fabulous terrace for breakfast, a drink, free WIFI, or just enjoy the view. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. Family owned and operated since 1920!!
