We spent 3 nights in the hilltop town of Spoleto using it as a base for our exploration of eastern portions of Umbria. We stayed in a juinor suite which was ample in space with high ceilings and a nice view of the valley. The Palazzo Dragoni is run by a family and the staff is accomodating and attentive. We... More

We enjoyed 3 nights at the Palazzo Dragoni in September. This hotel is located very close to the Duomo which is the main feature of the town. It is a lovely old Palazzo and has lots of character. Of course with character comes little things like noisy pipes which are part and parcel of this type of old building. The... More

At first look when we were taken to our room I was a bit let down. No doubt this place has lots of historic significance. The rooms were huge including the bathroom but as many places in Europe, not well lit. We just have to get used to that - and the longer you're in the room, you do! We... More

Everything at the Palazzo Dragoni is wonderful. The breakfast is the best ever and has plenty of options, you will not leave hungry. My room and bathroom were not only comfortable and cozy, but also felt like I had traveled back through time. My bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful. The views are breathtaking. But most importantly,... More

We first stayed here a few years ago, and my wife was adamant she wanted to stay here again. A lovely old palazzo (which actually maintains that feel), with breathtaking views over the cathedral and the Umbrian countryside. Comfortable, peaceful rooms, and a nice breakfast. The only problem is access - the hotel used to have parking facilities nearby, but... More

Our group of 11 stayed at this gorgeous palace for 6 nights during the end of April beginning of May. The owners, Alfredo and Patrizia, were gracious, professional, and made us feel like we were a part of the family. We even even had a giant group hug at the end our stay! The rooms were comfortable, clean, large, and... More

We spent two wonderful nights at this Hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was unbelievable with heart stopping views, it was huge and had a beautiful four poster bed and a very large bathroom. In addtion to this we had another bathroom and a large sitting room with a couch and television basically the whole floor... More

We stayed here for one night in September. The owners were amazingly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a huge, buffet style extravaganza - definitely the best one we had on this Italy trip! The bathrooms were newly remodeled and spotless, and the rooms large and comfortable. Spoleto is small and walkable, and the Dragoni was perfectly located for the... More

Spoleto is a wonderful hill town full of medieval buildings, with a wonderful atmosphere, and this hotel is the perfect complement to the town. The hosts were friendly and professional and the staff could not be nicer. The room was comfortable with a terrific view and the location near perfect. The public rooms were lovely and beautifully furnished and the... More

This is an elegant, comfortable, spotlessly clean hotel with attentive service and an exceptionally wonderful breakfast in a lovely dining room with a view of teh Umbrian landscape that takes one's breath away! Our room was appointed with antiques, and had a delightful stone archway between the sitting room and the bedroom. The expansive view of the landscape from the... More
