We had high expectations given other people's reviews, but they were surpassed when we got to stay there ourselves. We gasped audibly when shown the view our rooms had over the town (and all the way to Assisi). Roberto was exactly the right sort of host- always there to help but never pushing himself at you, always courteous and smiling,... More

The Palazzo Dragoni is our go to hotel in Spoleto. We love room #8 which has the poster bed. It is very large, has a sitting area, lovely bathroom, and a view that can't be beat. The breakfast room and it's view is amazing by itself...but the breakfast is better yet! Eggs any way you want them, homemade pastries, juices,... More

We really liked Palazzo Dragoni...once we found it. There is a street that appears to be one way coming at you, but it is two way though it is one way. Parking is around the corner and very convenient. WIFI is great and easy. The rooms are each different and a bit funky, which is cool. Each room has a... More

It would be hard not to imagine being thrown back into the 14th century in this authentic palazzo. Loved the decor, the stunning views, the attentive service, good breakfast and perfect location. Highly recommend!

We spent three nights here and were most favorably impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the staff. The view from the Pallazo is gorgeous while situating you right in the middle of Spoleto near the Duomo. Our room was immense by European standards. The elegant four poster bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The facility could use a... More

We stayed in this beautiful 14th century palazzo during our recent trip to Italy, and it was by far the best lodging we had for the entire trip throughout Tuscany and Umbria. The room was clean and spacious and had a breathtaking view overlooking the city. Palazzo Dragoni is located just steps from Spoleto's duomo and an easy walk to... More

This place is a joy. The location could hardly be better, just a short walk from the cathedral, with spectacular views along the valley towards Assisi. We were warmly welcomed, and taken to our room, which had a fine four-poster bed, a clean and well-equipped bathroom, and a small balcony with a view of the cathedral. The next morning, breakfast... We stayed at this delightful palazzo for two nights. We had the loggia room, which as the name suggests had once been the loggia and had been filled in. "Oh what a lovely room" was our reaction when we walked in.The room was clean, a good size, comfortable and had a good wifi connection. We had a lovely view over... More

Stayed a couple of nights in the Palazzo Dragoni on our way back up from Puglia. This is a well renovated hotel, tastefully decorated without the usual OTT tosh. We had a large room on the second floor, with fine views over the lower town and distant countryside. And a four poster bed. The staff were delightful and friendly, with... More

What a treat! A two night stay is a must in this peaceful hotel, with the not-to-be-missed amazing views from its breakfast room and some rooms. Close to the centre of the old town and within walking distance of many of the sights. A comfortable room with slightly dated bathroom. Staff were always helpful and the whole place has a... More
