After reading about Spoleto, I knew the location of this hotel would put it above a lot of other Spoleto hotels. I was right. We were just steps from several fantastic restaurants and didn't have to use the famous escalators once. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and our Jr. Suite overlooking the soccer fields was our "post flight" retreat for... More

This hotel is well located and handy to town. After my first use of the bathroom I notified the management of the faulty shower head clamp that allowed the shower head to rear up and soak the bathroom, the hand basin plug that allowed the water to dissappear while I shaved, the toilet that flowed continuously and the soap tray... Hotel Dei Duchi was just what we needed after travelling for more than 30 hours! We requested a quiet room to rest on arrival and were very happy with our large 3rd floor room overlooking the beautiful hillside beyond. With shutters closed it was both dark and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had a great choice of... More

Lovely quiet hotel with a lovely garden setting for an afternoon drink. Overlooks Roman ruins and easy distance to several town attractions. The rooms were a good size and the dining room/breakfast excellent

Located close to the main square of the town, just in front of one of the entrance to the underground tunnels that comfortably connect the town with the car parkings. Wide rooms silent clean. Very good breakfast and nice relaxing area. WiFi works but isn't that good. Polite and helpful staff.

Under normal conditions this hotel would rate 4 stars, However I choose this hotel based on location (excellent), parking (excellent) and wi-fi ( zero), with wi-fi being the most important by far. The front desk was very gracious and did their best to help, including resetting the modem and even coming to my room all to no avail. I ought... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and used it as a home base as we visited the Umbria countryside and nearby hilltop towns and LOVED it. Spoleto itself is a wonderful town and unspoiled by those typical touristic trappings that you find in some towns. The hotel was clean and fairly modern. We stayed in a room that overlooked the... A great place to stay with gorgeous views all around. Our room overlooked a Roman amphitheater and just down the corridor was a gorgeous terrace to sit out on. Rooms were large and very clean and our bathroom had a proper shower not one in the bath which was an added bonus. Buffet breakfast very pleasant with some lovely fresh... More

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and good room (comfort double). Hotel is happy to store our bicycles and help us with local cycling information. Fantastic base for road cycling in all directions and being typical tourists on wet days.

We stayed two nights in this charming hotel which is located right in the entrance of the old city near all the points of interest. A beautiful view can be seen from every window. The breakfast is nice and the staff is very professional and speak fluent English (Spanish works too :-)
