Where do I start? We absolutely LOVED Villa Pianciani!! We were 18 in a villa with 13 bedrooms and an enormous amount of space. The staff is fabulous- we were greeted by the group on arrival. By the time we left they felt like family. Rita, the house manager, is terrific and so helpful. The staff always had a smile... More

On behalf of everyone that stayed with me, we had the most incredible time at Villa Pianciani. Everyone who joined us has not stopped talking about it, and everyone was very sad when we had to all go back to work on the Monday morning! The staff at the complex were so welcoming and helpful, and the way that the... More

After searching for a suitable location throughout Tuscany and Umbria for our wedding, we settled on Villa Pianciani. It turned out to be the perfect choice with its own private chapel, enough accommodation space (in the Villa, Annex and Diamond Cottage) for all the guests for 4 nights, plenty of land, splendid views, terrific staff and food and cool pools... My partner & I were joined by 21 friends, from Australia, the Usa and France, for my 60th Birthday celebrations. We rented the whole complex so our celebrations would be just us. From the moment we arrived the owner Anna and her wonderful manager/chef Rita made us feel so welcome. No request was too much. The food was fantastic and... More

We stayed here with a group of 23 to celebrate a significant birthday. The villa is set in an idyllic situation on top of a hill with panoramic views in all directions. Lying by the pool in the hammock was very special. The staff were all amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We had a cooking lesson with "Nonna" and... More

My husband and I have booked the entire complex (Villa+Annexes) for about a week for a vacation with 30 friends of different nationalities. This review is an assessment of the whole experience. There were very high points and some sadly disappointing aspects. PROS: HOUSEKEEPER and LOCAL STAFF Amazing, warm, caring, attentive. We have only glowing words for the local staff.... More

We spent 5 days in April at the Bianchina annex to this impressive XVIIIth century villa, a few miles outside Spoleto (This was the countryside residence of the powerful Pianciani family ; a Pianciani palace is now hosting a bank in this city). The place is very well refurbished, with a discreet, yet obvious good taste. We were like at... More

If you need to take a rest form everyday life the Villa Pianciani is a special place. I appreciated the beauty of storic villa full of interesting pieces of art. The view form Villa is death breathing. I found total harmony there. The hotel is located on the hill, surrounded by olive trees (in the morning there is a fog... More

My brother-in-law was given the responsibility of organising a long celebration weekend for my sister-in-law’s birthday for family and friends, a party of 22 people. After weeks of trawling the web and becoming increasingly depressed at the offerings, he stumbled into Villa Piancini. His initial reaction was “too good to be true”, but after speaking to them directly, he booked... More

The owner of this property is working with a consultant to set up specialist holidays in the villa and I am loooking forward to seeing the plans. The house has a prominent position in the countryside at the top of a hill with olive grove, pine and fruit trees, bamboo plantation and rolling fields, not to mention the signature of... More
