We were not expecting much, and were not disappointed! The reception staff spoke good English and were polite and informative. There is a free underground garage. If you believe that the 2 bedroom apartments at Res Palace 2 sleeps 6 as advertised you will be in big trouble. There is one proper bedroom which is small but just about OK. You get to it by going through bedroom 2 which is about 3 metres square, has no windows or skylight, 2 bunks and a sort of... more

I would definitely ski Sestriere again, but I wouldn’t stay at the Palace I&II again. Beyond their spectacular view onto the mountain, the Palace itself is a plain, old, brown, functional, impersonal, massive, concrete complex of flats that could do with a facelift. There were no surprises at the Palace. Everything was as the website had described it. Appliances etc... more
