I stay with my two sons for a week ski vacation in March. Location, accommodation, breakfast were just what we needed for 3 avid skiers/snowboarders. Above all the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Thank you! Giorgio, Andrew & Chris

I have just returned from a weekend break in Sestrier. The hotel was what I expected. Warm, friendly with a nice atmosphere. The location was good just max of 10 min walk to the slopes which for someone that like door step skiing was fine. The rooms were warm (maybe a little too warm but you can open the balcony... More

We enjoyed a terrific stay at Il Fraitevino during a great snow, no clouds and strangely enough, as far as the slopes go, no people week. The hotel is located right smack in the middle of town, with extremely friendly staff who accomodated our every wish. Breakfast goes with eggs, esspressi, capucinos andore, as long as you ask. Rooms are... More

Superb location not even 5 minutes walk downhill to ski lifts. The hotel was very clean and my room was kept that way throughout my stay. Speak to the desk staff, they will tell you about the various deals they have with various restaurants, ski hire shops etc. You even get a small percentage off the lift pass. Here is... More

It's a 5 minute walk downhill to the ski lifts, and 3 minutes, again downhill, if you decide to ski back from the other side of the valley. Good central location with all services nearby. Good breakfast, too. Architecture and furniture of the hotel is a matter of taste. Negative: ski storage room is small, has no bench and no... More

Liked that hotel! Good location, tasty breakfast, cosy rooms, free wi-fi, but anyway we came there not to stay in the hotel but to ski! And skiing was really great! It does not concern the hotel but Sestriere itself. Streets are empty after 7 pm, even restaurants are almost empty..

Lovely hotel with really friendly staff, the rooms were lovely and very big compaired to some ski hotels we've stayed in before. The breakfast was really good with everything you could need, try the omletts they're fab. They have an under ground car park (extra charge) and free locker rooms for you skis and boots (we hire lockers from the... More

Great hotel, perfect for boarding or skiing. Very friendly and forthcoming staff. Easy access, view on the piste and off piste slopes, spitting distance from nice pubs, you're really at the heart of it all. Breakfast buffet is good, do get the custom made omelets and espresso! I'd definitely go back to Il Fraitevino any time there's a powder alert... More

This hotel was our second choice for a weeks skiing holiday during the February half term holiday. We originally had planned to stay at the Banchetta but due to complications with sorting out the deposit we settled for the Il Fraitevino. I'm really glad we did. Our party of 3 dedicated boarders/skiers and one occasional skiier were very well suited... More

We stayed in Fraitevino for a week and really love it. Very friendly and helpful staff. The receptionists speak excellent English. Several times we ordered lunch boxes and they were ready at the time and carefully packed. We were really surprised by free safe box on reception and a computer with free Internet connection in the lobby. LCD TV in... More
