We have just returned from an early season late bargain at the Crystal Club Hotel Argento. The location is potentially good with lifts close by. However because of lack of snow we were somewahat isolated as the club is actually in Borgata which is exceptionally quiet. Sestriere is only accessable on skis(when the lifts are running)or by mini bus. The... More

A quite small but very friendly British-run hotel in the quiet village of Borgata, a few minutes from Sestriere. With lifts across the road, radiating in all directions [to ski Borgata, Sestriere, Sauze D'Oulx and other areas on the Milky Way pass] it could not be more convenient.
