This hotel is well situated at the front and central to the town itself. The accommodation is spotless and the cleaning staff are friendly and polite. Not a bad hotel (though not really worthy of 4 stars). Mosquitos definitely a problem at end of September. Breakfast lacking quality and variety. Coffee definitely dreadful (though try a double expresso with milk and it is just about acceptable). Orange juice was foul. Never eat in the hotel, too many nice restaurants around.

No mosquito problem ,plenty about but not a serious bite.We spent £20.00 on anti mosquito electric gizmo,and lots of wipes and sting remedies .Never took them out of the suitcase. Grand Albergo has obliging staff who go out of their way to be helpful, including the very friendly lifeguard at the excellent rooftop pool, which is safe and well-constructed from smooth tiles with no rough edges (unlike some pools in Greece). Typical tourist hotel, very good location. Breakfasts very poor, buffet offers inka coffe, according to the information on the tables capuccino extra charge, but when we ordered such coffee for breakfast, the hotel didn't charge a fee ???!! Additionally, parking cost 15 EUR/day, towels to the pool on the roof for an additional fee, on the beach across the street... More
